This figure is pretty awesome and Research Droids Reviews itemizes what makes it so great. We hope that you'll also leave comments in our Facebook section and vote in our poll. The Rise Of Boba Fett New, Lowered And Permanent MSRP?

Posted by Paul | January 30, 2011 at 12:25 PM ET |

To our complete surprise, we noticed that Toys R Us has lowered the MSRP on The Rise Of Boba Fett Ultimate Battle Pack down to $79.99. We even scanned the item to ensure that this is true. (Note that the last digit in the price is a nine, so this isn't a sale or clearance price and there are also no temprorary shelf talkers advertising it as a temporary sale.) We will be sure to let you know if anything on this changes.

Another 2 For $10.99 Special At Toys R Us

Posted by Paul | January 30, 2011 at 12:20 PM ET |

Toys R Us is running another one of their 2 for "insert retail price here" specials. Right now the special is for $10.99. Eligible figures must be originally priced for $7.99 each, so yes, this excludes The Vintage Collection.

Review: Cad Bane [With Todo 360] - TCW - CW42

Posted by Paul | January 30, 2011 at 01:03 AM ET |

The brand-spanking new Cad Bane [With Todo 360] is starting to hit brick and mortar retail and it is one impressive figure. While you'll likely get excited over the enhanced articulation, Hasbro has done so much more to this charcater including a brilliant and much more accurate portrait and with a better blue paint used for his flesh color as well as lots of separately sculpted parts. Don't miss today's Research Droids Reviews because if you do, you'll miss out on what makes this iteration of Cad Bane so amazing! Posted by Paul | January 29, 2011 at 11:52 AM ET |

Review: Obi-Wan Kenobi - TCW [SOTDS] - CW40

Posted by Paul | January 29, 2011 at 01:10 AM ET |

Finally! We literally found ONE new figure out there! Hasbro updates Obi-Wan Kenobi from The Clone Wars line as his look transitions to how it appeared in Episode II. Hasbro made a great sculpt but didn't push the figure to the limits and an eventaully update will unfortunately be needed. See what Research Droids Reviews thinks about this new figure and discover why he is still lacking. We hope that you'll also leave comments in our Facebook section and vote in our poll. Review: Capture Of Tantive IV - TAC - Battle Packs

Posted by Paul | January 28, 2011 at 01:15 AM ET |

We love Battle Packs. The Capture Of Tantive IV from the 30 (77-07) line wasn't perfect by any means, but Hasbro proved that they could improve figures to make them a bit more interesting. Review: Captain Rex [CC-7567] (501st Legion: Torrent Company)

Posted by Paul | January 26, 2011 at 01:20 AM ET |

Every time a new Sideshow Collectibles 12" figure gets released, we say it's the best one yet. Well, get used to the pattern. Research Droids Reviews raves uncontrollably about the new Captain Rex 12" figures and this latest figure makes us long for the day when Hasbro will make realistic versions of the characters that appear in The Clone Wars television show in the basic figure line. If Hasbro can even come remotely close to what Sideshow Collectibles has done, then we will certainly be all very happy collectors! SOTDS AT-AT Found At TARGET For Less Than $25

Posted by Paul | January 21, 2011 at 06:16 PM ET |

Apologies in advance if this is old news, but we haven't seen this posted ANYWHERE! TARGET has clearanced out the "Shadow Of The Dark Side" AT-AT for a measley $24.98 (we are in the Philly area)! We didn't see this slowly get marked down in our area (like other Star Wars items after the holidays) and were in complete shock after seeing this mark-down tag on the box! We also checked every other TARGET in the area as well and although the DPCI rang up for $24.98, they were completely sold out of any remaining quantities. If you find an AT-AT at TARGET, please walk it to the price scanner. You too might also receive the surprise of your life!

Toys R Us Drama? Maybe....Maybe Not

Posted by Paul | January 15, 2011 at 06:36 PM ET |

JTA spoke with Toys R Us today about the glut of "old" product showing up at stores lately. TRU has informed us that leftover product from "Pop-Up" stores is being sent to the "all year" stores from Christmas and this is taking priority before any deliveries from the warehouses (which are getting the new product). The long story short is that many collectors may not be seeing new product hit their local stores if the "Pop-Up" stores' merchandise keeps coming. Let's hope the old stuff sells through. Hopefully it won't have much impact at all.

Review: Barada - TSC - SAGA 004

Posted by Paul | January 09, 2011 at 01:15 AM ET |

It seems that many people believe that Hasbro updated the 1985 "Barada" figure in the modern line, but this isn't the case at all. The 1985 figure is actually named Kithaba and the 1999 Cinema Scenes set called Skiff Guards brought us our very first "true" version of Barada. But this figure was beautifully repainted in late 2005 in the very first wave of The Saga Collection. Research Droids Reviews explains this figure's complex history and why this version is the best!
