TSC–Wave 1 – Battle of Carkoon
#001 Princess Leia (Boushh Disguise):

This is the first figure from this “new” line of figures. Though I wasn't too excited about reissues, I understand it’s necessity to keep the overall line going.

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
Not bad. It’s a linear move on Hasbro’s part. Previous issues of this figure have looked nearly if not just as good.
Rating 3.0 out of 5 Holocrons

Articulation:
Nearly SA, this is a fantastic figure for articulation, thus making it the ultimate representation of the character. The points of articulation are as follows:

  • Ball joint head
  • Ball joint shoulders
  • Swivel elbows
  • Swivel wrists
  • Swivel waist
  • Hinged hips
  • Ball joint knees!
  • Ball jointed ankles
Not much to improve on that.
Rating 4.5 out of 5 Holocrons

    Paint Application:
Decent for the figure, but a little black wash to weather the costume might have really made it come to life. But as an action figure it suffices.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

    Overall sculpt:
Couple little nit-picky points. The ball joint shoulders really stand out and the bandoleer is too loose. Really not bad otherwise.
Rating 4.0 out of 5 Holocrons

    Accessories:
This figure has some good accessories.

  • Rifle/staff-whatever that thingy is...
  • Removable helmet
  • Removable Thermal Detonator (but be careful not to lose it)
  • Character specific display stand
  • and while the bandoleer isn't really an accessory it looks to be removable as well which works for the next section.
Rating 4.5 out of 5 Holocrons

    Customization possibilities:
I had to think about this for a minute, but then it dawned on me, FEMALE JEDI!! Same colors. With a little paint and sanding this figure can easily be made to look like a female Jedi. Sculpt a new head and you've got that “HIYA” Jedi girl from the AOTC arena scene. Not too much more than that, but at least there’s some potential.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons

    Playability:
A good figure to play with. Lots of poseability. Be careful of the small parts and you've got yourself a winner here.
Rating 3.0 out of 5 Holocrons

    Overall Score:
The best Boushh figure to date and most likely ever. Even if you already have a previous version, I suggest getting this one.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

    Respectfully submitted
    -Sal
