TSC – Wave 2 – Battle of Hoth
#014 Power Droid:

I was actually very happy to hear that we'd be getting this figure again and improved. It’s certainly a figure worth taking a look at.

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
Well since there’s no "head" to speak of, I can't really comment here.
No Rating due to lack of head.

Articulation:
Not much here for this droid as he’s mostly a big box battery on legs. He has the same feature as with the Jawa Power droid and that’s it. But that’s all he could possibly have anyway.
Rating 1 out of 5 Holocrons

Paint Application:
A nice new paint wash and this droid looks like a different droid. Well almost, but he benefits from the added accessories.
Rating 3.0 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall sculpt:
A little improvement over the previous one, the sensor accessory really helps to sell this as a "new" figure.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Accessories:
his is the section that makes this over the top worth it in value. You don't just get a power droid with this purchase, but also a "Treadmill" droid, which was formerly packed with the Aunt Beru figure. It’s almost like getting a 2 for 1. heck why don't Battle droids come with the little PK droids then? I think every relatively small droid like the power droid should be sold like this, with a companion droid. Since not much in the way of articulation is needed, it’s still cost effective for Hasbro to do this for us. Thanks Hasbro for a figure with great accessories.
Rating 5 out of 5 Holocrons

Customization possibilities:
Hmm, not much, but if you paint it differently and take off the or repaint the sensors on the top of him, then you could have a new droid.
Rating 2 out of 5 Holocrons

Playability:
With two droids for the price of one, you can't help but feel like you've got more play value here. Certainly they are great fillers for dioramas and especially the Purchase of the droids scene. Not much in the way of working parts but still fun.
Rating 3 out of 5 Holocrons

Overall Score:
A very welcome addition to the collection, due to it’s being short packed this figure saw little shelf time and is still HTF for many people. If you see it, get it. It’s not likely that we'll see it again for a long time to come, if ever.
Rating 3.5 out of 5 Holocrons

Respectfully submitted
