Always nice to have more Jedi and this one doesnt’ disappoint.
Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the
figure:
Head Sculpt:
Great job here. The detail in teh face is apparent.
It’s obviously a member of the Weequay race. Hasbro
always seems to do better with Alien sculpts.
Rating 5 out of 5 Holocrons.
Articulation:
One word "excellent". The only disappointment here is
the lack of articulation in the knees. That would have
put this in the perfect category. Sora has
articulation as such: Ball jointed neck, shoulders,
elbows, ankels; Swivel jointed wrists, waist and
hips.
Rating 4.5 out of 5 Holocrons
Paint Application:
Not much paint to this figure as it’s a Jedi, but nice weathering on the tan robe.
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons
Overall sculpt:
Fantastic. The robes and pants look great and coupled
with teh excellent head sculpt this figure comes out
tops!
Rating 5 out of 5 Holocrons
Accessories:
Not much to talk about here. As usual it has a
lightsaber and a stand. But for this character, we do
not really need anything else..
Rating 2.5 out of 5 Holocrons
Customization possibilities:
Well, pop the head off and swap it out with something
else and voila, new Jedi. Since the body is different
than other Jedi figures, it makes sense to use this
one for customs. Really good potential here,
especially if you are Jedi fans.
Rating 5 out of 5 Holocrons
Playability:
This figure can be posed in many ways allowing for
tons of playability. Sine he’s a background character,
I don’t think there’s as much appeal with the kids
than with the adults for him, as he’s got a larger
role in the EU.
Rating 4 out of 5 Holocrons
Overall Score:
Yet another Jedi to add to the ranks, Sora Bulq has
been requested before and Hasbro delivered. Not just a
plain Jedi, but a nicely sculpted and articulated one.
It was a bit hard to find when it first came out and I
never saw it peg for more than a day. If you don’t as
yet have one, get one, if you can stll find it.
Rating 4.5 out of 5 Holocrons
