I was a bit skeptical of another Geonosian figure as the articulation on ones past have been mediocre at best. Read on and you’ll see why you should have not one but MANY of this figure!

Here are my subjective and objective reviews for the figure:

Head Sculpt:
Decent job on the Head. As always, Hasbro does pretty good with Aliens.

Articulation:
Here is where this figure excels. This is not a lain AOTC warrior here. Sun Fac has the following articulation: Ball jointed neck, shoulders, elbows, ankles; Swivel jointed waist, wrists and hips.Even his wings have some articulation to them. A MUCH better figure and improvement to the AOTC Geonosian Warrior figure.

Paint Application:
So close to perfect. My biggest beef is that on everyone of this figure that I’ve seen, it’s head is much more greenish-brown, than the rest of the body, which takes on more of the reddish-brown coloration. The slashed eye is a nice effect and the paint on the waist band in well done.

Overall sculpt:
Hasbro really did a bang-up job on Sun Fac. Detail in his garments and the texture of his "skin" really help to bring this character to life.

Accessories:
It’s nice to get the blaster with a carded figure instead of a deluxe one. Before now the only way to get one was to purchase the deluxe set with the horrid pod. Thanks Hasbro!!

Customization possibilities:
Not much here other than a repaint. Geonosians are pretty specific aliens.

Playability:
A lot of detail and articulation went into this character. He suffers from being a background characte, so kids won’t go for him as much. Still it’s the best Geo fig to date and I had lots of fun playing....er POSING him, yeah that’s it.

Overall Score:
This was a figure well worth purchasing. He’s a full head taller than the Geonosian warrior figure so he stands out, BUT... If you buy alot of him, you can easily use him instead to replace your Geo ranks. The only thing keeping me from doing that right now is the pricepoint. I do have 3 of him, but I’ll get more later, to be sure. If you don’t already have this figure, I higly suggest geting it. Even if you’r not a bug fan, this one offers so much articulation that you’ll almost forget he’s a bug.
