Entertainment Earth is starting some trouble on Instagram. They’re asking for Star Wars fans to vote on their favorite Star Wars line: The Black Series 6″ line, or The Vintage Collection. As of this post, The Vintage Collection is forging ahead of the 6″ line. What will the end result be? Most people who collect TVC aren’t even on Instagram (unempirical data assessment). It will be interesting to see how all this pans out!

After New York Toy fair last weekend, our friends over at Banthaskull were invited to participate in a follow-up Q&A with the Hasbro reps who presented the Star Wars panel. It was a very insightful interview, and they got some specific answers about the line instead of general PR responses. You can read the full interview on Banthaskull here, but there is one important part I want to cover with this article: repacks. Click here for more…

While NY Toy Fair was gut-wrenching and devastating to most, the announcement of the Lars homestead EG-6 Power Droid was such incredible news for me. I was so excited it was confirmed (it’s been hinted by my sources for over a year and a half now), that I didn’t care that Hasbro phoned it in for the rest of The Vintage Collection reveals. We’ve posted nearly half a dozen front-page articles whining and moaning how Hasbro has NEVER updated the vintage Kenner Power Droid figure in the modern line. It only took them years, but I could not be happier that the modern definitive modern update to the vintage Kenner Power Droid is finally here. (Be prepared for more whining and moaning for the few others yet to be made too in the near future.) (more….)

Well, I’m not sure why I was expecting to see Mandalorian and Clone Wars merchandise this Toy Fair. It’s not like The Mandalorian was the number one tv show when it aired, and fans haven’t been greatly anticipating the return of The Clone Wars for nearly a year now. Nevermind all that, what we want are repacks! At least they look nice. Click through to check them out!

Jedibusiness.com found that Star Action Figures UK posted in-package photos of the next wave of TVC figures. They are slated for release end of April/early May. I’m extremely excited for these figures, and May is certainly too far away. At least it will keep my hype up for the show between seasons! What do you think of the card art and the figures? Let us know in the comments!

Megalopolis toys posted an ad on their Facebook page about a week ago. It was just shared in the Vintage Collection group on Facebook by Jeffery H, so thanks to him for bringing it to our attention. This is why so many of us love The Vintage Collection! Click here to watch the video.

There are 2 playsets that would be incredible additions to The Vintage Collection. One needs to be the Razorcrest, that much is clear, but the second might not be so obvious. I’ve taken some screenshots (not photos from my phone this time, yay!), and drew up a couple ideas for how these playsets could be brought to fruition. Click here to take a look!

Okay, so The Mandalorian has been out for a day now, and I wanted to talk action figures – specifically for The Vintage Collection. What characters would you like to see immortalized in 3.75 inches of plastic? The Mandalorian is already coming, so we won’t use him as a pick here, but click through for some photos and let us know in the comments who you’d like to see in TVC! Mild spoilers may be ahead…

Hasbro addressed the confusion surrounding the VC150 and VC164 figures in the Vintage Collection today on their panel at the MCM London Comic Con. As you already know Leia is definitely VC150 and only a few batches of her were made with the VC164 number. Now the question was what figure would be VC164 then or if fans had to wait a long time to find out. Hasbro revealed in London that the upcoming Cara Dune Vintage Collection figure will be VC164. So collectors will now have two VC164 figures in their collection, if they were able to get an early release of the Yavin Leia figure.

There was some initial confusion about the numbering for the new Vintage Collection Princess Leia Organa (Yavin) figure. While Hasbro had announced at NYCC that Leia would replace the cancelled Darth Revan figure and be VC150, the first batches of the figure showed her with a VC164 numbering. Now Anthony S. has come across a VC150 Leia at his local Target, so Hasbro did know what they were talking about after all. Will you get both the VC164 and VC150 version? Thanks to Anthony for the alert and photo!

A “Hasbro Star Wars Vin Huckleberry Hoodboat” has appeared in various Swiss online shops! The price ranges from 102.70 -119 Swiss Franks. So it could be a $80-$100 vehicle in the US. We know that “Huckleberry” is the code name for the Mandalorian show. The vehicle has been rumored for a while now, but the fact the TVC vehicle can now be found in several European online shops is certainly another good sign. It is unknown what vehicle exactly Hasbro will release, but the Razor Crest would be a logical choice here. Expect it to see the light of day in early 2020.

I love toy photography. I follow about 20 pages on Instagram who regularly post new photos of toys from Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Hot Wheels, and more. I’m not sure as though I have seen a photo mirror a movie scene so accurately as this amazing work of art done by James R. Special thanks to him for letting me share his photo from Facebook. Another thanks to Steve Evans for signing off on such a beautiful design. Have you done any photography with your new skiffs? Show it off in the comments!

Nothing new was revealed at the Hasbro SDCC Star Wars breakfast event, but Hasbro did show things like the Hyperreal Vader and newly revealed Sith Trooper, they also had the SDCC exlusive “Jedi Destiny” three pack on display. Here is a high resolution photo of the three figures in the pack. Let’s hope there will be individual releases later down the road.

JTA regular Matthew Cohen spotted the TVC Combat Assault Tank at a Target in Brooklyn today, sold at regular MSRP. Also in the store were a lot of TVC Stormtrooper Hans (much more of him than TBS Trash Compactor Luke). Anyone who didn’t get the Tank when it was discounted online and is still looking for it might want to check out their local Target!

The VC140 Rogue One Stormtrooper was my most anticipated figure of the year. Now that I have a few, it is my new favorite. I know some of our readers are on the fence about buying them since they are not “Original Trilogy specific,” but aren’t they? Let’s take a look at some of the reasons why you should buy a few (or a few more).

I’m seeing numerous reports of wave 6 showing up in people’s homes around the country. Did you pre-order wave 6 of The Vintage Collection? I just got 4 stormtroopers in the mail yesterday (from Amazon, and not a scalper price). Post a photo of your most recent hauls, especially if you got wave 6, in the comments of your new figures and where you ordered them from.
Find The Vintage Collection figures at EE here.
