The Millennium Falcon has been captured in the Death Star's tractor beam. Aboard the Falcon are Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewbacca and Obi-Wan Kenobi - along with R2-D2 and C-3PO. After Artoo discovers that Princess Leia is being held prisoner aboard the massive space station, Luke and Han realize they have to rescue the princess and escape in the Millennium Falcon before they are discovered by Vader.
Luke and Han don stormtrooper uniforms to disguise themselves as they search the space station for the princess. Chewie accompanies them as a prisoner, scaring away a mouse droid with a menacing Wookiee growl. Kenobi has left them to locate the source of the tractor beam, a search that ends in a fateful lightsaber duel with Vader. Luke, Han and Chewie free the princess, but are soon spotted by stormtroopers. They engage in a fierce fight, which Luke and Han discover that the beautiful princess is brace and resourceful in the face of danger. Cornered and outnumbered, they jump down a chute and find themselves in a trash compactor. As the walls of the compactor close in, threatening to crush them to death, Luke contacts C-3PO, who has R2-D2 deactivate the compactor with only seconds to spare.

MAY THE FORCE BE WITH YOU!
Ugh. We’re not too crazy about the Han Solo & Luke Skywalker (In Stormtrooper Gear) two-pack set. When announced, most of us assumed it was going to be one of the greatest Star Wars exclusives of the year. But Hasbro used the Collector Series Stormtrooper base figure to make both Han Solo and Luke Skywalker, and the final results leave you feeling disappointed. Both figures are much too chunky when compared to the athletic frames the characters possess in A New Hope. The bulky buckets don’t help things either. And the included Mouse Droid only seems to sugarcoat a set of expensive Collector Series figures that take the line backward instead of forward. The sticker on the packaging exclaims that the set is limited to 20,000 units. At the time of release, the set was nearly impossible to find in stores. But we’re sure than more than a few collectors developed buyers' remorse rather quickly. While we don’t believe the Han Solo & Luke Skywalker (In Stormtrooper Gear) two-pack has any redeeming qualities, it was one of Kenner/Hasbro’s earliest retailer exclusives (if not the first). And we have to give them the benefit of the doubt that they were on a learning curve here. Set with an MSRP of $49.99, the Han Solo & Luke Skywalker (In Stormtrooper Gear) set looks better packaged than out of the package. And that’s not a reassuring sentiment to have about this exclusive.
