Yikes! We understand that the Retro Collection line isn’t responsible for bringing collectors well-defined and screen-accurate action figures, but did they have to make a young, vibrant, and bright actress like Moses Ingram so hideous in 5POA format? The Retro Collection Reva (Third Sister) action figure probably doesn’t vary much in approach to others in the case assortment. Still, we feel they could have made this female action figure a little more attractive, like the on-screen character. Reva (Third Sister) appears correctly scaled to the other action figures in this range supporting the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. The figure comes with a vinyl cape like the Grand Inquisitor and a red double-bladed lightsaber with only half the ring. The Grand Inquisitor and Fifth Brother figures come with the full ringed hilt. Reva (Third Sister) is a bit shiny, but perhaps that’s intentional since the character wears leathery-type clothing. We don’t feel that the viny cape did this action figure any favors. Reva wears a unique cape and doesn’t have a cut or drape like a standard cape wearer, so we feel the vinyl approach was wrong here. But again, the Retro Collection isn’t about screen accuracy. It’s about paying homage to the vintage Kenner line as if it had never stopped producing the minimally detailed action figures from the late seventies and early eighties. But overall, it feels like Hasbro could have done something to make this action figure look a little better. It doesn’t feel as authentic as the five other figures in this wave.
