All different types of droids populate the Star Wars galaxy. Each is different and has their own unique personality and colors. These four droid figures have returned for a spooky celebration.
May the Force be with you... and your Droids!
Most of the holiday-themed astromech Droid Factory figures Disney produced went exceptionally well with 3.75-inch Star Wars collectors. They often go over better than the Christmas-themed ones. Some of the earliest characters introduced in the Droid Factory line sold out rather quickly and began commanding exorbitant amounts of money on the aftermarket. Disney took note of this and cobbled together a “greatest hits” set of their most popular Halloween droids and combined them into a deluxe box set. The item is the perfect gift for your astromech lover or those who missed out on these fantastic droids. Collectors, please welcome the R2-BOO/R3-BOO17/R4-BOO18/R5-BOO19 multipack into your collection. The droids have slight paint operation differences, but it’s obvious they’re intended to be “straight repacks.” R2-BOO, the first in the series, looks as gorgeous as ever and now comes with a bat cap to help further celebrate the holiday season. R3-BOO17 might be the most popular Halloween astromech of all time. It’s a translucent chartreuse green droid that glows in the dark with fantastic 80s technology. Hold the figure in bright light and then turn off the lights. It glows brilliantly! R4-BOO18, however, is the dud of the bunch. Disney painted it incorrectly to look like a piece of candy corn. And it comes with an extension arm and a “piece of candy corn” that hangs from it like a mistletoe. The last figure is another fan-favorite release, R5-BOO19. This R5 unit is painted like a skeleton. It, too, comes with glow-in-the-dark technology, but this time the effect is created with special paint. All packaged together for $39.99, the four figures look beautiful together, and we know it will be a hit for those who love the Build A Droid or Droid Factory collection.
