You saw our previous report about newly deleted items at Walmart. (By the way, if your store hasn't marked those items down yet it's because they are cheap and not using any of their markdown money budget. These items are absolutely still deleted.) We also mentioned that there is a new plan-o-gram for the Star Wars aisle. With special thanks from JTA reader Allen, we are able to share it with you. JTA sponsor Big Bad Toy Store has put up a ton of new Star Wars pre-orders, but of special note, they've listed a new fourth wave of The Clone Wars. Not only do the case ratios look MUCH better (many figures are two to a case now), they indirectly confirm a not-yet-announced Commander Fox figure, most likely in his phase II armor! No pictures yet, but click through to see it yourself!

Adam Pawlus from GalacticHunter.com addressed a question this week in his Q&A that a reader had about the 2012 TVC Clone Trooper (501st Legion) (VC60) figure. While that question was answered, Adam brought up the fact that this figure WILL BE THE RAREST of all The Vintage Collection figures to date and he's right. Yes, he is rarer than Wedge Antilles and Darth Malgus. Are you curious for proof? Then click through.

If you listen to anything the staff at JTA tells you, then listen to this. You need to work a daily scheduled toy run because you never know what you're going to find in the stores. I came across the deal of the century today. They couldn't find a price, so they made one up. I wanted to army build this set, but it was too expensive for my budget and I certainly didn't need another Captain Rex, so my patience has paid off big time! Click through to check it out!

Toys R Us is running a great sale (provided they get some new figures in their stores) for Buy One Get One 50% off. The sale lasts through June 2, 2012. Also of note, we personally keep finding the TRU exclusive Deluxe Rebel Ground Crew With Speeder (case fresh) in stores. Obviously this must be overstock that has been hidden in the back or at the warehouse level. You may not be out of luck yet for this vehicle/figure set. The best part? This is on sale for 30% off ($13.29 in our area) until June 2nd also!

It's going from bad to worse! Articulation is dying a slow death and collectors are outraged. But does Hasbro care? Can Hasbro retore a new hope in us once again? Obi-Wan Kenobi should have been the definitive version of this character, but Hasbro opted to kill articulation and add a backpack instead. Sigh. See why this figure would have been awesome in our Research Droids Reviews and let's pray Hasbro doesn't alter the deal any further whern it comes to a figure's rightful articulation. Special thanks to JTA friend (and Swedish reader) Mats for alerting us to the Toy Palace who has put up the coveted MTT up for pre-order with an availability of July 31st. While this won't benefit too many American readers since Toy Palace is in Germany, it's still noteworthy as it gives an approximate street date of July/August and not the Fall which most everyone assumed. It's a figure that is proof that having early scripts are very confusing indeed. See what you think about this odd ball figure in our Research Droids Reviews today. Did we catch your attention? We need even more help! JTA is growing again and we're thrilled to have new staff members already on board. And we're very thankful for our three current moderators trying their best to keep up with the overwhelming response to our comments module. But even the total six of us can barely keep up with properly moderating everything as we average about 100 comments every day. (Some days go as high as almost 200!) We are thrilled by this, but with staff trying to keep up with their respective site duties, we are starting to fall behind. We want to properly respond to and approve your comments expediently. We are looking to bring a few new moderators on board to help us with our article comments. If you're interested, please email Chuck Paskovics or Paul Harrison and we will be happy to go over what it takes to be a part of our fun and entertaining forum community. Thank you in advance for your interest!
