Sideshow Collectibles updates their website with the latest production images of the incredible and upcoming Utapau Clone Trooper. The artisans at Sideshow Collectibles have been clearly hard at work, making every detail of this member of the Grand Army Of The Republic perfect in every way, including a rework of the original head sculpt. Collectors, consider yourselves lucky, we now have a definitive sculpt of the phase II clone trooper!

There is another! (Premium Format Scout Trooper that is.) Sideshow puzzlingly previews the newest Premium Format figure, an upright Scout Trooper sans speeder bike. This doesn't seem like the wisest choice to introduce another version of a previously released character, especially when there are so many other characters in our rich Star Wars universe. Perhaps they are trying to make this very popular character more affordable to other collectors! Here is hoping that this won't happen too often. Click thumbnail below to check out the preview.

Sideshow Collectibles announces the edition size of the regular edition 12" Utapau Clone Trooper figure at 2500 pieces, a quite small number for an army and troop builder figure. Even more shocking, the Admiral Piett 12" figure has a paltry total edition size of only 1500 pieces. Here's
a first look at the recently released Gentle Giant Forbidden Planet
exclusive Clone Wars Coruscant Guard animated maquette. Although the
maquette doesn't bring anything too new to the table, it is quite a unique
piece to add to your collection. The
figure is streamlined and angular, perfectly copied from the computer animated
series, and the angle of his rifle is in a perfect pose and allows the viewer
to check out all of his defining markings which point him as an elite
member of the Coruscant Guard battalion. Click

Sideshow posts a very intriguing Q&A today in their very popular "Ask Sideshow" segment. Collectors will be very interested in knowing that a revisit to the "limited edition" figures seems imminent. In particular, they comment on the 12" Stormtrooper from the Militaries Of Star Wars collection. They believe that collectors will want to see this figure again at another point and will consider "re-releasing" a tweaked version so the original version technically doesn't break edition size. Click the link below to read more about this!
