Ten years after the fight to save the Naboo from invasion, the galaxy is on the brink of civil war. Under the leadership of a renegade Jedi, thousands of solar systems threaten to secede from the Galactic Republic.

A courageous Jedi Knight, his impulsive and headstrong apprentice, and a queen-turned-senator are drawn into the heart of the conflict... and the beginning of war.

The Power Of The Jedi line abruptly came to a close just as it reached a new peak of excellence. But Hasbro had plans to maintain the line look for four action figures based on Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. These four figures for the most part were excellently designed and were approached in ways similar to the action figures already released in the Power Of The Jedi but with new precision as they were some of the nicest sculpts we had seen to date. This quartet gave us main and obscure characters from Episode II while not revealing any secrets about them. Together they whet the appetites of Star Wars fans everywhere. With dynamic designs and excellent sculpting, collectors were eager to see what the new toy line would bring. And if these four figures were any indication, Star Wars collectors everywhere had something to really enjoy. Zam Wesell, a bounty hunter from Attack Of The Clones was first released as Sneak Preview figure. Though her face is disguised, Hasbro recreated a screen accurate version of her which they have done so well there is little to no room to complain about it. Let’s look at why this figure rivals its basic figure release in the Star Wars “Saga” line, a figure released only a month after this one.

First and foremost, Zam Wesell has an incredibly wonderful sculpt. Coming with only seven points of articulation, Hasbro has pre-posed most of the body to accommodate most of the included accessories, especially the long rifle. Frankly, her design is exquisite. Please note we're basing our praise on the sculpt and not the articulation. You have to separate them out here. You just have to do this to appreciate it. There is an inordinate amount of mystery surrounding her. Just with her covered face alone makes Zam Wesell a provocatively interesting character, even if nothing else is known about her for the time being. And she seems like a cool character for a new Star Wars film. It’s known that she is a character that has the ability to change, and that’s what 2002’s SW Zam Wesell (Bounty Hunter) (’02 #18) figure focuses on, but we have to admit that the Sneak Preview version of Zam Wesell is clearly the champion and better figure. The sculpting of the helmet, face covering, costume and gear is just beyond incredible. We are thoroughly impressed with how beautiful the action figure looks. The paint job may even rival the sculpting too. We have always said that an excellent paint job is what can make or break an action figure, and that applies here. Zam Wesell has a gorgeous paint job that accentuates all of the details sculpted into the action figure.

The Sneak Preview version of Zam Wesell comes with three accessories. A tiny hold-out pistol can be held in her right hand, and then stored in her functioning holster when not in use. It’s an all-new accessory and it looks great: a nice sculpt and awesome paint job. She also comes with a long (and sturdy) blaster rifle as well. The last accessory included is a blast effect. It nicely fits on the ends of both of the barrels of the included guns which creates a neat special effect aesthetic for the action figure. Does Zam Wesell come with incredible articulation? Can she sit? No, definitely not to both of those questions. But you probably won’t care because again, Zam Wesell (Sneak Preview) is a stunningly sculpted action figure that looks incredible, even if she functions more like a statue than an action figure. We’re telling you the truth. Action figures rarely look this spectacular. Zam Wesell’s costume in and of itself is mind-blowing. She can hold both of her weapons quite convincingly, despite her pre-posed stance. So do you really need unlimited articulation? Not this time. Zam Wesell is the shining star of the Power Of The Jedi Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones Sneak preview figures.
