Urgah Lady Gorneesh

General analysis!

KING GORNEESH's consort and partner in his dirty deeds against the EWOKS.

There is always a female villain. And for the Ewoks television series, it’s Urgah Lady Gorneesh, spouse of King Gorneesh and rulers of the Duloks. If there is one Dulok action figure that most closely matches the fur color of the Duloks species, Urgah Lady Gorneesh comes closest. The pea-green color of the fur is the standard we see in the various episodes of Ewoks. Urgah Lady Gorneesh is not an attractive character. If there is a metaphor for “putting lipstick on a pig,” this character comes closest to personifying it. Urgah Lady Gorneesh has the most interesting pose of the EWOKS action figures. The figure’s legs are close together, and the figure stands on the ball of one foot. Thankfully, the figure has a decent center of gravity and stands unassisted quite well. Urgah Lady Gorneesh comes without any accessories, although the shawl around the neck is separately sculpted. But if you attempt to remove it from the neck, it could result in a breakage of the figure. One of six figures in the EWOKS line and Kenner planned a second wave but canceled it due to poor sales of the first case assortment. To date, none of them ever got released.
