In an era filled with danger, deception, and intrigue, Cassian Andor embarks on a path that will turn him into the rebel hero who will challenge the evil Galactic Empire.

This one looks like a Nazi. But maybe that’s the point. The line of figures based on Star Wars: Andor isn’t all that interesting so far, and Hasbro has decided they’d make better exclusives than general marketplace items. Collectors can welcome a generic Imperial Officer (Dark Times) character into their collections, which nicely complements the concurrently released Imperial Officer (Ferrix) figure. A flashback scene supposedly inspires this one. If you watch the series, you likely know the relevance of these characters, but as The Black Series 6-inch line appears to be losing steam with the Hasbro Star Wars Team, it feels like we’re just getting random characters instead of an on-screen group, or themed waves of action figures. The Imperial Officer (Dark Times) figure uses many recycled parts, but admittedly, the final figure looks impressive and easily captures your attention. And it seems markedly better than the “Ferrix” figure. The Black Series 6-inch line is becoming increasingly unaffordable, and when all is said and done, expect to plop down about $30 for this figure. And if you think about it, that’s a rip-off for mostly reused parts and inferior articulation. But this is where we are with the Star Wars line. It won’t be able to sustain itself much longer with these high prices and constant recycling of existing parts. Collectors appear to be losing interest in the brand, and we are also. But if you’re looking to add random members of the Galactic Empire to your collection, you could do a lot worse than this figure. It does look pretty nice.
