Speeder Bike/The Mandalorian - Mission Fleet (Vehicles)

The Mission Fleet line isn’t for everyone, but if you give the line a chance, you’ll discover that Hasbro is making decent toys with a younger audience in mind. But some of the components might work for your 3.75” or 6” collections as well. Take, for instance, the Speeder Bike/The Mandalorian set. Speeder Bikes are a Star Wars staple, so it may not interest you all that much. But what Hasbro did here is to include The Child and its hover cradle to attach to the Speeder Bike’s rear. Although produced in an “animated” style, the included The Child figure looks to be perfect scale for The Vintage Collection lineup and the hover cradle accessory. Unfortunately, The Child only comes with head articulation. From the neck down, The Child is one solid piece of plastic. You also get The Mandalorian figure in shiny “Beskar” armor and a host of accessories uncommon for the Mission Fleet line. You usually only get one or two accessories, but you get more here. The figure comes with a removable cape, a blaster pistol, a raystaff blaster rifle, and a removable jetpack, not unlike Jango Fett’s from the Battle of Geonosis. The Mandalorian is nicely designed and interacts both with the Speeder Bike and The Child pack-in figure beautifully. There is very little to criticize here, and if you’re willing to give this line chance, this is the perfect set to do so. The smaller-sized vehicle assortment has an MSRP of $14.99, and we feel it’s worth every penny. Your mileage may vary.
