Bo-Katan Kryze - TBS [CC] - Six Inch Figures (Exclusive)

The Black Series Credit Collection lineup is notorious for its bright colors and abstract paint operations, but for Bo-Katan Kryze, Hasbro toned things down a bit. If you didn’t compare the Credit Collection version next to its original release, you may not know it was an exclusive repaint based on concept art. However, there will be those collectors out there who are hellbent against buying anything Hasbro repaints, so the Credit Collection is not on the menu. However, we appreciate the artful impact the Credit Collection subset of figures has had on the Hasbro Star Wars brand. In a sea of bleakness and uncertainty with the IP, it’s lovely to see some creative interpretations of the many characters who make up the Star Wars saga. Regardless, we enjoy the color palette of Bo-Katan Kryze and the innovative and expressive interpretations generated from this sub-line. Like many other Mandalorian characters, Bo-Katan Kryze comes with colorfully accented symbols and details to give the armor its unique edge. And because of its excellent design, you can place Bo-Katan Kryze in several action-oriented poses, some of which seem to defy gravity. You have many posing options here, and it’s excellent that Hasbro afforded them to collectors with this action figure. As 6-inch collectors know, Hasbro stepped away from double hinge-jointed articulation in favor of ball-jointed articulation instead because it provides more meaningful posing and movement. For Bo-Katan Kryze, the articulation system is as perfect as you could want it. An armored figure, Hasbro worked in articulation that isn’t inhibited by armored parts hitting against each other. Everything moves freely and provides optimal movement to the collector. For accessories, the figure comes with a removable helmet. We feel the helmet is a little too large for the figure, but that’s because of the hairstyle. Hasbro needed to design a bucket wide enough to consider the bobbed hairstyle. It’s not inordinately too large, but just ever so slightly. It comes with an articulated rangefinder and stays at multiple angles unassisted, which is always a huge positive. Bo-Katan Kryze also comes with two blaster pistols. Lastly, the figure comes with a removable jetpack, which is petite and fits the figure rather perfectly. Bo-Katan Kryze is a Fan Channel exclusive action figure, and it’s unknown if Hasbro plans to develop the Credit Collection further.
