Oh My Heck! The Black Series For $3?

JTA staffer Jeremy has quite a tale to tell about $3 The Black Series figures! While most likely an isolated event, click through for more!
I really doubt this is a nationwide thing, but one of my local Walmarts had a label on two pegs that listed Black Series figures (3.75", before anyone asks!) at $3 each. Now, the pegs were empty, so I'm not sure if this is an upcoming Black November sale or I got in at the tail end of a desperate attempt to get rid of the rest of the Phantom Menace pegwarmers and TBS3.75 just got caught up in the whole shared DCPI [TARGET] thing that Hasbro went with. But I thought it was interesting either way, and definitely something worth keeping an eye on as we approach the holiday insanity.
