Coming August 1, 2008, a new online source for Star Wars collectors opens its doors! This online retail store called THE COLLECTORATE was created by a group of avid Star Wars collectors. Their tagline, "By Collectors, For Collectors", speaks to its origins and its focus. This group of enterprising collectors identified many frustrations they had encountered while purchasing items for their collections. Finding no remedies for these frustrations, they decided to open a store with a collector's point of view.
Have you ordered an item "guaranteed" to be a C-9,
only to have it arrive looking more like a C-7?
Have you unboxed an item when it arrived and wondered,
"What were they thinking when they packed this??"
