The upcoming Star Wars: Thrawn novel will have three different editions available. Along with the standard release (pre-order here), you can also pick up the Barnes & Noble edition ($28.99), which comes with an exclusive cover and pull-out poster. You can pre-order that edition right here. There will also be an Celebration Orlando exclusive edition that will only be available at Celebration Orlando next month. As many of you know, Carrie Fisher released her newest book called “The Princess Diarist”, which reveals a rather personal account of the making of A New Hope from her unique perspective. I’m about halfway through the book, and it’s very good. Sure, the love affair with Ford is interesting, but her current perspective on showbiz vs her naiveté back in the 70’s is often quite revealing and hilarious. It’s a wonderful read, and gives a different perspective on the making of Star Wars. Amazon has the book at nearly half-off, so get it for yourself or that special feisty princess in your life.

Del Rey Books announced via Twitter a new prequel novel for Rogue One. Catalyst: A Rogue One Story comes out this fall! No author has been announced yet.

Our Hardback Novel guide was in need of a major overhaul since the release of the Canon novels. With the release of so many post-Return of the Jedi stories in the new canon timeline, it was hard to fit them into the timeline with the post-Return of the Jedi Legends stories. The Force Awakens novelization by Alan Dean Foster hits the shelves tomorrow (January 5). If you've been waiting for this one then hit your local bookstore or pick it up on Amazon! The digital version has been out for a few weeks, but in order to keep this one from slipping out before the movie, the hardcopy was pushed back to a January 5 release date.

Now that The Force Awakens as officially arrived, don't forget about the media blitz that has landed since December 18th. In case you didn't pre-order these, or if you are still wanting any of these in time for Christmas, be sure to stop by and pick up some NOW ON SALE The Force Awakens goodies! Although no cover art yet, you can also pre-order Star Wars: The Visual Dictionary and Star Wars: The Force Awakens Incredible Cross Sections. Both of these are also due out in hardcover December 18th.

IGN is reporting that a new comic will explain C-3PO's red arm in The Force Awakens. This has been a hot topic of discussion and it looks like our questions will be answered!
