We can almost forgive Hasbro for initially making the Stormtrooper (VC231) figure a Walmart exclusive because they’ve done their part to make it more widely available again. Hasbro re-adds the Stormtrooper to the lineup with enhanced paint operations and card art. The figure hasn’t looked better. We took the time to summarize all the new details for you by producing an all-new 80-image gallery complete with comparison shots and a breakdown of what separates the 2022 version from the 2024 reissue in the Collector Notes. Hasbro thinks so little of their longtime collector base that they believe you are too dumb to notice that you can get 100% all-new tooling and seven accessories for $16.99 or an 80% reused-parts figure also with seven accessories but for $24.99 and label it a “Deluxe” figure. That said. The Vintage Collection Professor Huyang is a fantastic figure; you likely will want doubles of it. (more….)
