JTA reader Patrice found the Star Wars Visions Twins set this past week in France. 

Just found yesterday (11/11/22) at Micromania Zing in France (a.k.a Gamestop), statues of the Twins Am and Karre from Star Wars Visions. A little over 18.5cm tall, about 7″ not counting the included stand.

It’s a bit remarkable as Banpresto typically only do manga and anime statues from famous series like Dragon Ball, One Piece… never Star Wars.

In a neat little packaging trick, once lined up the boxes show the shape of the Twin’s goofy looking double ISD. Keep up the good work!

You would think that making an action figure of the most iconic Star Wars villain would be a pretty easy task. Darth Vader wears a helmet, you don’t really have to sculpt a human likeness, all you need is access to helmet replicas (or access to the Lucasfilm archives) or reference photos of all the various Vader helmets used throughout the movies. SH Figuarts will release Yoda, based on his look in Revenge of the Sith, in late August 2019. Pre-orders are up already on some of the Japanese websites, others will follow shortly. Yoda is a web exclusive figure, which means he’s somewhat more expensive than a regular release and that aftermarket prices for him will be very high. Other SHF web exclusive Star Wars figures go for more than $200. So anyone who wants a prequel Yoda should absolutely pre-order. You have to pay in advance, however. There is a pre-order period of 3 months. Once pre-orders close you are out of luck and you have to resort to the aftermarket.
Yoda will come with three headsculpts, three cloak pieces, his Jedi council chair, his cane and his lightsaber. Click through for more pictures!

A magazine scan soliciting the SH Figuarts A New Hope Leia has appeared in the wild. The figure is coming in December! Pre-orders will certainly open soon. So anyone who wants her should keep their eyes open and wait for the pre-order! Leia is the last member of the classic A New Hope hero line-up still missing.
