The Target exclusive Boba Fett (Vintage Deco) will not be available for pre-order today. The new pre-order date is likely November 16th at 12 pm ET.

UPDATE: There have been updates going out saying the new pre-order date is November 16th at 1 PM Eastern. Their web site says drops begin at 12 PM Eastern, so be ready for anything I guess.

This week’s Bring Home the Galaxy campaign reveals several new The Vintage Collection figures. Boba Fett (Target Exclusive, $20.99) is now featured in Vintage Kenner colors, and the Clone Wars 20th Anniversary adds ARC Commander Colt (Walmart Exclusive, $16.99). Pre-orders are set to go live tomorrow at 1 PM Eastern. Head over to GamesRadar for the full ARC Commander Colt reveal. Just over a year after its pre-order date (September 24, 2021), the Target exclusive The Black Series Droids Boba Fett is finally shipping. Shipping notices have started going out this week. There have also been reports showing up on social media of this showing up in stores. So, if you missed the pre-order it’s time to start checking brick and mortar!

SH Figuarts revealed a new Boba Fett action figure earlier this week. This is an updated version, but it’s not entirely clear if it’s a retool or just a repaint. This throne room version of Boba Fett does however come with a brand new throne and two brand new headsculpts. Click through for more photos!

Since the late 70’s, the Star Wars toys Kenner, and then Hasbro, made were for kids. The current line-up of Hasbro toys, however, are adult collectibles. Perhaps no recent figure makes that more apparent than the Deluxe Boba Fett (Tatooine) release. At $28, it is unlikely that the average parent would make that purchase for a child or even teenage collector. Expensive action figures are not unprecedented, nor are adult collectible 1/18 scale lines. How does Hasbro measure up? Target is sending out updated shipping notices for the Droids R2-D2 and Boba Fett figures. They are now due to ship on May 26th. They also updated the product pages with May 26th as the release date. I don’t know if I’m more excited to finally receive these figures or to have that Target hold on my Credit Card for the past 8 months finally gone.
