Now that they’ve canceled her character, expect the toys to disappear too. Grab Cara Dune from The Vintage Collection carbonized line before it’s gone forever!!
Gina Carano is no longer employed by Lucasfilm. Late Wednesday night the news broke that following a controversial post by Carano on her Instagram Lucasfilm decided to cut all ties with the actress. I will show a screenshot of Gina Carano’s (deleted) controversial Instagram post after the jump and provide some commentary. Before you click through to read the full story I want to remind everyone to be polite and civil in the comments!

The Mandalorian’s Cara Dune is one fine lady and one butt-kicking female lead. So is Gina Carano. But do you want her “carbonized”? (more….)
We have a sneak peek for you tonight of the Walmart exclusive The Vintage Collection The Mandalorian Carbonized figures. Why do “carbonized” figures look better than their non-carbonized counterparts? We’re finding that these figures are more impressive than the standard releases. These figures come without any VC numbers, and their packaging is “foiled” to create a hologram effect for the card art. The cards are extra-thick too, so it will be difficult to “hurt” the figures’ packaging. This is the first time we’re seeing the Imperial Death Trooper under The Mandalorian banner. Hasbro used new card art for this one. We have full galleries and collector notes available for all of the figures, and reviews begin tomorrow! Enjoy!

Take a look at this! Two figures from the most recent wave are in stock now on Amazon. Unfortunately The Mandalorian and the Remnant Stormtrooper are still unavailable. Hopefully, Cara and the clone coming in stock like this means that the others will be up shortly. Don’t forget Amazon is delaying non-essential items, so free shipping is about a week right now. You can purchase these in-stock figures by clicking below:
Up next for The Vintage Collection wave 25 is Cara Dune (VC164). Click below for our full Visual Guide. Click here to read all about this figure in our review.

If you missed out on pre-ordering singles of her, The Vintage Collection Cara Dune is available on Amazon again for pre-order. Special thanks to JTA reader Vadersaber for the reminder.
We have a sneak peek for you on the next wave of The Vintage Collection. Check out Cara Dune (VC164), The Mandalorian (VC166) and the Remnant Stormtrooper (VC165). This is one solid wave, and one of Hasbro’s finest in a VERY long time. Cara Dune is excellent. She looks a little bit too much like Mandy Moore, but you probably won’t care. She comes with the dagger, but it’s permanently attached to her boot unfortunately. The Mandalorian is another excellent release. The paint operations look off in a few spots, but again, you need to have a discriminating eye to see the issues. The Remnant Stormtrooper is what it is, and that’s an excellent new version of the Rogue One Imperial Stormtrooper. Hasbro went cheap on the deco on the figure’s posterior. They should have pulled out all the stops and made the figure as filthy as possible. All figures come with 30 points of articulation. Anyway, reviews are coming very shortly, so check out the complete galleries and dioramic shots RIGHT NOW!
JTA reader and friend Russ T. found the latest wave of The Vintage Collection in the Plainfield NJ area of the country. While not hitting everywhere at the moment, the reports are consistent. Let us know if you’ve found this great wave too!
