The 12-dozen Roses 6″ figures sold out in moments. Now Entertainment Earth is offering the same deal for 3.75″ super-articulated collectors. Get them before they disappear too!

Lucasfilm’s SVP of Development, Kiri Hart, profile is no longer listed on Lucasfilm’s leadership page. She also (as of this posting) is not listed on the company’s leadership team page. This development could mean a couple of things. Does it mean nothing? Does it mean that she’s been promoted to another role at Lucasfilm and they’re updating her page? Retail is clearancing out the Star Wars [Solo] wave, and so many collectors have yet to see a single character from the film on pegs. Hasbro Toy Shop’s eBay store has the last wave in stock if you’re quick. These figures MAY show up on clearance somewhere down the road, but you know what they say about last wave syndrome…. It’s late, but we didn’t want to say goodnight without providing you a sneak peek at the stunning Jarek Yeager/Bucket (R3-B7) Two-Packs set from the Star Wars [Resistance] line. It’s one of the most beautiful things Hasbro’s produced in quite some time. We’re quite taken with this line, and the products continually get better and better. Bucket has more articulation than expected, and its design is gorgeous. Jarek Yeager is one of the nicest animated sculpts we’ve ever seen! This is a must-have set in our opinion, so check it out early right now!

JTA reader and friend “Logan” found the Galaxy Of Adventures wave 2 at his local Walmart. Admittedly, these figures look pretty neat in the colorful packaging. Too bad they’re all repacked figures. Well, the Stormtrooper isn’t. It looks like the Solo Stormtrooper (Mimban) figure painted all white with the Rogue One helmet.

Guess what? I watched The Force Awakens for the first time since it was in theaters over three years ago tonight. Those that read with any regularity know how I feel about the film. But if you don’t, in short, I think it’s the worst Star Wars film of the bunch (yes, I think it’s worse than The Last Jedi by a landslide). And I would go so far to say that it’s one of the worst films “period” I’ve ever seen too (for its deception of not being much more than an Episode IV reboot). That’s not hyperbole. I feel it took Star Wars down a path that a large chunk of the community couldn’t follow. Anyway, this isn’t another chance to jibe the film. I have rethought a couple of things, and I felt it is worth sharing. Click through for more.

The New York Post has run an article about the most returned Christmas gifts this past holiday season. You might be surprised that Star Wars toys have made the list. Special thanks to JTA reader John J. C. for the alert!

This isn’t necessarily anecdotal. And it’s undoubtedly not hyperbolic. I’ve never seen the Star Wars brand perform this poorly in my 20+ years collecting. Out of curiosity, I wanted to check my local Ollie’s store to see what kind of Star Wars merchandise they acquired from the Toys R Us buyout. And while I found a crapload of stuff, I also found product TARGET gave up on too. Not even the Five Below TVC purge was this voluminous in unwanted Star Wars products. (Half of us never saw those TVC figures until they hot Five Below because it was a terrible distribution issue.) This sale product may sell at Ollie’s at reduced prices, but if it didn’t move at Toys R Us as they were liquidating everything, why would it sell for higher prices at Ollie’s? What a mess.

Images and news reports are floating around on social media that Hasbro’s inaugural wave of the reintroduced The Vintage Collection figures are now found at discount outlets like Bargain Hunt (and others). Hasbro, it’s time to move away from the Sequel Trilogy repacks. When we said “slap it on a vintage card back” we meant great figures from your The Legacy Collection, Legacy Collection, and The Black Series [Phase I and Phase II] lines, updated with photoreal technology. You know; the characters from before Disney Star Wars. Disney Star Wars characters are essential, but you should treat them in The Vintage Collection like how you’re handling the Original and Prequel Trilogy characters. You have it backward!

UPDATE: Per one of our readers, Bargain Hunt is supposedly getting their stock from TARGET stores. Man, that’s a powerful statement if it’s true.

Site wegotthiscovered.com has posted an intriguing, albeit unverified rumor about who the villain is in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone film. If you’re not into spoilers, please stay away.
