Goodness, gracious! Great balls of fire! There are a lot of flames and a little bit of new tooling within the Incinerator Trooper & Grogu Walmart exclusive set from The Vintage Collection. (more….)
Holy cow! If dealing with Disney Star Wars means we’ll get figures like The Vintage Collection Darth Vader (The Dark Times) action figure, then so be it because this is the BEST 3.75-INCH DARTH VADER Hasbro ever produced. That’s not an exaggeration. This action figure can do ANYTHING! By the way, it’s hilarious that they gave TVC collectors an all-new figure with interchangeable hands and just gave TBS6 collectors a repack. Didn’t they have better profit margins with TBS6? Oh well. You MUST check out this work of art! (more….)
Hasbro used a previous figure for the Darth Vader character in the Obi-Wan Kenobi Disney+ series. Check it out! (more….)
The Vintage Collection Reva (Third Sister) is an excellent action figure. But will that matter at all if no one likes the character? (more….)
“Wandering” sounds so aimless. But Hasbro shows collectors their drive and passion for The Vintage Collection line is anything but aimless with the Obi-Wan Kenobi (Wandering Jedi) figure. Besides, you have to learn more about the L0-LA59 accessories included here. Hasbro gives us more “stuff” in a basic carded release than in their “Deluxe” figures sub-line. And it’s a fantastic addition to the line. (more….)
The Boba Fett (Tatooine) figure is nice but ridiculously expensive. Hasbro should feel shame. The Star Wars tax has to end. Are you adding this overpriced The Vintage Collection figure to your collection?. (more….)
The Boba Fett (Throne Room) figure is beautiful, but it’s also a scam. Hasbro wants you to believe it’s a “DELUXE” figure! (Psst! It’s not!) You just have to pay a “DELUXE” price for it is all. (more….)
Let’s finish up the latest wave of the Retro Collection with the Imperial Death Trooper. (more….)
Let’s continue looking at the remaining figures in the latest wave of the Retro Collection. The Armorer is next. Hasbro did something different with this one. (more….)
Thank you for reading Research Droids Reviews: Season 14!
Let’s continue looking at the remaining figures in the latest wave of the Retro Collection. Bo-Katan Kryze is next. (more….)
A decade ago, all of the accessories with the Ahsoka Tano & Grogu two-pack would have been included in the basic carded release. But not with the current Hasbro Star Wars team. No way, and no how. (more….)
In Greek, “omega” means “the end.” But we’re just beginning Research Droids Reviews Season 14 with Omega (Kamino) from The Black Series [Phase IV] line. Is this what Disney Star Wars has come to now? (more….)
The Vintage Collection Fennec Shand figure not only comes with an alternate portrait, it also has a unique feature! (more….)
Hasbro’s new The Black Series [Phase IV] Echo (TBB11) figure is another fantastic release. (more….)
Another impressive release is Hasbro’s new The Black Series [Phase IV] Death Watch Mandalorian (TM21) figure. (more….)
We saved the best for last! Check out the amazing The Black Series [Phase IV] Boba Fett (Tython) figure and see the evidence that Hasbro can give us a Deluxe figure for the price of a basic figure. This figure is all-new and comes with more accessories than most of their Deluxe line. (more….)
Here we go again! Carbonized is back, and the Scout Trooper (Carbonized) is the latest victim. Or are YOU the latest victim purchasing this piece of trash? (more….)
What a piece of junk! You’re braver than we thought if you plopped down $50 for this thing. OK, so these are exaggerations. But TVC collectors should start demanding that Hasbro raise the bar for the line, instead of lowering their expectations. Let’s take a look at the Nevarro Cantina from The Vintage Collection. (more….)
The Target exclusive The Black Series [Phase IV] The Mandalorian & Grogu (Arvala-7) set features notable new tooling, but will the laughable MSRP and mediocre paint operations give you pause purchasing it? (more….)
We dare you to read our review on The Vintage Collection The Razor Crest HasLab vehicle. (more….)
Hasbro used 95% of a previously existing figure to make The Black Series [Phase IV] Migs Mayfeld (Morak) figure. But how do the new parts look with the old ones? (more….)
The Black Series [Phase IV] Fennec Shand 6-inch figure makes one less action figure to complete for your ER Season 6 cast. Oh, and Ming-Na Wen is supposedly in some Disney Star Wars show too. But how is the action figure? (more….)
But they could have prevented it. A few additions would have made this a surefire hit, and collectors might not have balked at its price. But wow. That Jabba’s Palace Throne Room playset environment is something else, isn’t it? That said, you know from the comments that its price is staggering, and collectors are saying “no way.” Collectors are being forced into a “direct to market” scenario as it’s a Hasbro Pulse exclusive. And there were so many ample opportunities they could have incorporated to make this The Vintage Collection centerpiece shine above anything else released previously. Well, maybe save for The Khetanna. With just about 15 minutes of talking about this item with my good friend John McCartney, we came up with many ideas to guarantee this release some incredibly enormous success (and enthusiasm). (more….)
There are too many versions of all The Mandalorian characters in the Hasbro Star Wars line. Greef Karga from The Black Series Credit Collection line is no exception.. (more….)
The Black Series [Phase IV] Wrecker is beautiful. Do you know what’s not beautiful though? The price. Hasbro once again tries to pull the wool over the eyes of the 6-inch collecting community when the whole Deluxe premise is a scam (more….)
