Now that we have Princess Leia Organa and R2-D2 based on their A New Hope appearances in the bag for the Forces Of Destiny line, it would make sense for Hasbro to also include a Stormtrooper in this line too, wouldn’t it?

We have a nice image of the empty box of the recently revealed Princess Leia Organa/R2-D2 set from the Forces Of Destiny line so you can see it’s diorama potential. Check it out by clicking the image below.

Well this is interesting! Toys R Us has updated their Forces Of Destiny section to include the Princess Leia Organa/R2-D2 two-pack as their latest exclusive. If you recall, this set was a recently revealed in Brazil at the Disney Expo there, and our own sources hinted this would be coming to Toys R Us this holiday season. It looks like that rumor has panned out. It cannot be pre-ordered yet, but they do have a December 6th availability date listed. Thanks to JTA readers Mike M. and Brian K. for the alerts!

UPDATE: It looks like other online shops have this for pre-order too. Perhaps TRU is confused about having this as their exclusive, but our sources have confirmed this too at one point. Maybe it has since changed.

There are a ton of figures marked down to the $2 to $3 range and they even have some 6″ figure for less than $10 each. Check it out, you may find something you’re looking for and if you spend $14.99 it all ships for FREE!

Forces Of Destiny is slated to return with new episodes this October. The writer of the animated series, Jennifer Murro, recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter to discuss some info on the series and what we can expect from the new episodes. Many sources are calling this season 2, however, I believe it is still season 1 similar to how they took breaks from Rebels. Read the THR interview with Jennifer Murro here!
