It turns out there is one more vehicle coming to the all new Star Wars: Mission Fleet toyline. The official reveal on io9 the other day didn’t mention one very important vehicle, but Hasbro released press photos of it earlier today. There will also be a Millennium Falcon Mission Fleet vehicle with Han Solo figure. The cockpit opens and Han can sit inside of it. You can also open up the back to reveal the holochess table and enough space to have two figures sit down (however, they don’t sit around the holochess table). As with all the other Mission Fleet sets you also get some kind of minigun that fires projectiles, it can be mounted on a small treadspeeder, both parts can also be attached to the Millennium Falcon.
Does this new Millennium Falcon interest you?

The Star Wars novel “Force Collector” will be released as part of the “Journey To Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” on November 19th, but some details of the upcoming novel have already leaked on Reddit. The novel revolves around the grandson of a former Jedi who has a mysterious power, when he touches certain objects he receives visions and flashbacks. But that shall not concern us here.
The tidbit that may be of interest to fans of Han Solo is this: in the novel the protagonist meets Maz at her cantina/castle and while there he touches one of the Yavin medals. And it turns out that none other than Han Solo gave Luke’s Yavin medeal to Maz to pay for a drink! Maz then calls Han a “bastard”.
Now, whoever controls canon at Lucasfilm, whoever has the right to veto certain things in the novels, maybe should have thought really hard about that tidbit and if that is something that a post “A New Hope” Han Solo would actually do. But since all the novels are canon, Han Solo is now someone who sold Luke’s Yavin medal for booze, on top of being a loser dad and estranged husband, who reverted to being a scoundrel and swindling his way through life some time after Return of the Jedi, only to get killed by his son who didn’t like being sent to Jedi boarding school, where his uncle tried to murder him in his sleep.
So what do you think? Do you think a post Return of the Jedi Han Solo would actually sell Luke’s Yavin medal for a drink?

I’m going through the purchasing process for a new home, so I am trying to save every penny for that. Unfortunately that includes pennies spent on new action figures, so not really anything for me this week but some Star Wars sno cones! I’ll leave this TRT in your capable hands. We saw the magazine scans last week, so we knew it was only a matter of time before SH Figuarts would officially announce the two new Star Wars figures of Luke and Han. You can now find official promo photos for both The Force Awakens Han Solo and The Last Jedi Luke (Crait) on the SH Figuarts homepage.
Luke Skywalker will come with two headsculpts, which look much better than the blurry magazine scans, the usual hands, lightsaber hilt, a lightsaber with blade and the two golden dice (they are tiny). Han seems to come with almost nothing, other than a few alternate hands, and a blaster, he comes with an extra holster that was molded with a blaster inside of it, so the blaster is non removable, this is the same approach SHF chose for their previous A New Hope Han Solo figure.
Both figures go on pre-order on August 1st (Thursday), local Japanese time (Japan is 13 hours ahead of EST). Check the usual Japanese etailers if you want to secure your figure. The figures are not web exclusives so could, in theory, sell out eventually. Release date is December 2019.

JTA doesn’t usually cover much Funko Pop! news, but outside of the TVC and TBS bubble Funko is doing incredibly well (more on that in an upcoming article). And now Amazon has an all new Funko Pop! Episode IV Millennium Falcon with Episode IV Han Solo on pre-order! The set will only be available for Amazon Prime members. Despite that it is currently the best selling toy on Amazon. The Falcon is $64.99 and will be released on October 21, 2019. Pre-order the Millennium Falcon here. Thanks to Craig F. for the alert! Let us know in the comments if you’ll pre-order the toy or if you just ignore anything Funko Pop!

One canceled item that genuinely devastated me was from Hasbro’s 2010 Legacy Collection line. The Star Wars #2 Comic Packs set which included a “white” Luke Skywalker (Snowspeeder Pilot) and kit-bashed Han Solo (Bespin Outfit) never made it out. Not even Entertainment Earth saved them in their exclusive “save the Comic Packs” case assortment. It’s safe to assume that I don’t need the Han Solo figure, but I would be lying if I told you I still didn’t dream about that Luke Skywalker figure. But how about you? Would you like to see either figure released?

We have a sneak peek of the first wave of Retro Collection figures for you to see. I love these things. But what a shame that Hasbro didn’t launch this line for the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. I hope they take the line as far as possible. Droids, Ewoks, unproduced vintage Kenner figures are only the beginning. And I would LOVE to see 1985 The Power Of The Force figures added as well. Right now they’re exclusively available at TARGET beginning May 12th, but they will have more widespread availability later this year in the Fall. Check them out and leave your thought about them in our review pages!

Getting through “Barge Week” was arduous, but it was well worth it. Now that we got that out of the way, we wanted to redirect your attention to a set Hasbro produced over a decade ago that is essential to help complement your Jabba’s Sail Barge (The Khetanna). During 2008’s The Legacy Collection run, Hasbro released the Battle At The Sarlacc Pit Battle Packs set. It gave us our first-ever 3.75″ version of the Sarlacc Pit. It also included a repainted Skiff and five pack-in figures with the worst paint jobs we’ve ever seen. We’ve revisited the review with a massive 120-image gallery, revised text in the review and an Editor’s Note which explains that we do have a Sail Barge now. Anyway, please check out the new images, and see why you may want to consider this for your collection if you don’t have it!

A lucky fellow by the name of Josh B. shared via instagram last night that their local Target stocked the pegs with the new Han Stormtrooper. The figure is supposed to have a street date of May 12th, so what witchery was used to purchase this, we can only guess. The face printing for Han looks quite wonderful, and notice the silver painted end-cap on the E-11 blaster (that very well may be a new/retooled mold). This figure was found in Orange County, CA.
