We’re catching up on TVC reissues! The Attack Of The Clones Mace Windu figure reissue looks fantastic. We’re surprised they delved into characters from Episode II for re-release. The revised paint operations are a notable improvement; they changed the colors throughout, making it looks more screen accurate. This figure is now available. We took the time to break it all down for you by producing an all-new 68-image gallery complete with comparison shots and a breakdown of what separates the 2011 version from the 2022 new release in the Collector Notes. See this excellent figure updated in our RDRs now! There’s more difference here than you may realize.

Today I want to continue the 1/12 scale Star Wars action figure retrospective. Previously I focused on single characters. For this article I focus on characters and figures that don’t warrant an article of their own, but which have still various options available and where it makes sense to talk about what is the “best” or “ultimate” version. In this article I cover the characters Count Dooku, Mace Windu, C-3PO and R2-D2! So click through for the battle of their 6-inch action figures!

The Lucca Comics and Games Convention Hasbro panel JUST revealed 2 new figures coming next year for The Black Series and The Vintage Collection (thanks to Banthaskull for posting the live feed). If you’re a TBS collector, you will be pleased that our rumor is true that Mace Windu will be joining the 6″ world. If you are a TVC collector, the reveal may be worse than you could have possibly imagined! If you thought the figure wasn’t worth it for $3 at Walmart a year ago, you might be thrilled to pay $13 for a repacked Poe Dameron (pilot) figure on a vintage Kenner card back! What do you think?
Update: Official promo photos of Mace Windu and Poe Dameron added! More photos will most likely follow later today, so stay tuned! Also, it has to be pointed out that Poe Dameron is a repaint with photo real technology.
Update 2: Mace Windu will be available in Spring 2019! Poe Dameron is scheduled for a fall 2019 release!
