We had to wait TWO DECADES for Hasbro to update Princess Leia Organa from A New Hope on a vintage-styled card. And this is the first one that is super-articulated. It’s not perfect, but it’s pretty close. Check it out in our Research Droids Reviews today (more….)
We can almost forgive Hasbro for initially making the Stormtrooper (VC231) figure a Walmart exclusive because they’ve done their part to make it more widely available again. Hasbro re-adds the Stormtrooper to the lineup with enhanced paint operations and card art. The figure hasn’t looked better. We took the time to summarize all the new details for you by producing an all-new 80-image gallery complete with comparison shots and a breakdown of what separates the 2022 version from the 2024 reissue in the Collector Notes. See this essential figure, which has been updated in our RDRs now! There’s more difference here than you may realize.
Throw away your VC93 Darth Vader figure! It’s officially obsolete! Hasbro gave longtime collectors a gift with the updated and upgraded Darth Vader figure based on Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. It’s an absolute must-have action figure. Check it out in our Research Droids Reviews today (more….)

It’s another impressive re-release! Hasbro FINALLY gets Artoo-Detoo (R2-D2) right as an Episode IV version of the classic astromech droid. With a “clean” deco, a shinier silvery dome, corrected legs, and upgraded card art, collectors have much to be thankful for here. The figure hasn’t looked better. What a disappointment! Hasbro FINALLY gets Nien Nunb out to the public again, and it’s still too short, and they neglected the dark pink mouth paint operations once AGAIN! What’s up with this incompetent design team in Rhode Island? Anyway, check out the new version. It comes with less paint and a Return Of The Jedi 40 logo. We took the time to summarize all the new details for you by producing an all-new 68-image gallery complete with comparison shots and a breakdown of what separates the 2012 version from the 2023 reissue in the Collector Notes. We’re catching up on TVC reissues! Unfortunately, the Return Of The Jedi Nikto (Skiff Guard) figure reissue is a disappointment. Although Hasbro fixed the mismatched knee and ankle joints, they messed up the deco on the head sculpt. It is now too flat and much darker. They should have lightened this action figure’s skin color many shades instead.
