The Black Series Archive line has been “hit or miss” lately, but the 501st Legion Clone Trooper, on paper, feels like a good release. (more….)

It’s time for another The Black Series Visual Guide update. Click below to check out Kit Fisto (112). Don’t forget to also stop by and read our full review!
Holy cow. The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ Kit Fisto figure is a complete mess. The head sculpt looks like an amalgamation of the Episode II and Episode III versions of the character, but the deco and details more closely resemble the Revenge Of The Sith likeness. Either way, the figure doesn’t have a robe, comes with the wrong lightsaber hilt, and possesses a litany of other issues. 6″ collectors should demand a recount on this figure. (more….)
“On top of spaghetti, all covered in cheese, I lost my poor magma ball, when somebody sneezed.” You won’t sneeze at the Mustafar Final Duel Playset. It’s as fun as lava from a volcano! The Revenge Of The Sith Darth Sidious 12 Inch Figure is FAR from perfection. You may even think the head sculpt is atrocious. BUT! The figure is not without merit. TRIVIA FACT: It’s the only figure called “Darth Sidious” in the entire Revenge Of The Sith line. See why we still have affection for this figure in our Research Droids Reviews today! How ominous that it’s the Ides of March today and our review focuses on characters from a scene during Order 66. Et tu, Bly? Look for a cameo appearance from Aayla Secura in our Photo Gallery. We’re thrilled to present you with a sneak peek of the latest wave of The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ figures. Wow. What a wave! In addition to three fabulous The Rise Of Skywalker characters, we get a long-awaited Count Dooku and Clone Commander Bly, both of which are fantastic as well. Clone Commander Bly utilizes old tooling, but Hasbro did a good job as disguising that. Count Dooku will enrage longtime 3.75″ collectors. Why in the world do we not have a quality Count Dooku figure like this in our collections yet, Hasbro? Count Dooku comes with an all-new widened lightsaber blade attachment. Zorii Bliss is another incredible addition. The figure’s mask is removable and displays a beautiful visage of Kerri Russell. The Knight Of Ren is excellent. But these characters lost their luster a bit after Episode IX. Still, Hasbro should be commended. Will we ever get them all. Sith Jet Trooper may only be a repaint, but its sculpt is underrated. And the figure works beautifully in this color too. The reviews are coming shortly, but you can enjoy rough galleries now. More images coming soon!

We just received two samples of the online exclusive TVC 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper (VC145) action figure from our friends at Entertainment Earth, and we wanted to share what you need to know about it. This version is going to be the best The Vintage Collection 41st Elite Corps Clone Trooper (VC145) figure we will ever receive. Mark our words. It’s almost perfect, and it’s no way getting any better than this. But there are four major things you need to know about this release. 1. It’s in glorious TVC packaging. 2. The figure comes with enhanced “photorealistic” technology. 3. The color flashes are, for the first time after three chances, applied correctly. Even the gray color is the most screen-accurate we’ve seen on this sculpt. 4. This is the first release that comes with a “hard” bucket. Hasbro did not use the soft and squishy helmet. It’s a tad smaller, but still not correctly sized. But it looks MUCH better. This is great news. Check out our FULL AND COMPLETED REVIEW now in addition to a complete gallery with COMPARISON PICTURES! (Please leave all of your thoughts and comments on the review page. Thank you!)
