There are plenty of new reveals today for the Sideshow Collectibles Online Comic-Con event, including many new Hot Toys Sixth Scale figures. It looks like Hot Toys has entered the Clone Trooper market with Commander Cody and the Airborne Trooper. If you have been having your Forces Of Destiny Princess Leia Organa and R2-D2 set continually cancelled by ToysRUs.com, we have learned right from the source that this retailer is not getting stock. (We’re not entirely sure if that means just onlint or both online and brick and mortar. We just received word that it’s not coming.) If you’re waiting for it, you should probably order it from other sources like GameStop or Entertainment Earth.

We have a sneak peek for you of the newest wave of Force Link basic figure before we begin the reviews tomorrow! Check out galleries and collector notes for these figures now. DJ (Canto Bight) is a nice figure, but it doesn’t look much like Benicio Del Toro at all. He comes with an all-new and very cool blaster that looks like something from the Old West. R2-D2 is the star of the wave for us. Hasbro resurrected the Build A Droid sculpt for this figure and we couldn’t be more elated about it. Luke Skywalker (Jedi Exile) looks much better without his hood but comes with two extra points of articulation: swivel wrists. And Rey (Island Journey) is really just a reason for Hasbro to double dip on a version of this character we already have, but this all-new sculpt does come with swivel elbows this time around. THANK YOU, Steve Evans! Would you believe that the new R2-D2 from the Star Wars [The Last Jedi] line is not only Force Link compatible, but that it has been made from the fan favorite Build A Droid sculpt? Hasbro resurrected this tooling (complete with foot wiring) to create a divine version of R2-D2. It’s one of the greatest R2-D2 figures we have received in the line to date! We have been begging Hasbro to bring back this sculpt into the basic figure line, and it appears they’ve listened! Stay tuned for more soon! Well this is interesting! Toys R Us has updated their Forces Of Destiny section to include the Princess Leia Organa/R2-D2 two-pack as their latest exclusive. If you recall, this set was a recently revealed in Brazil at the Disney Expo there, and our own sources hinted this would be coming to Toys R Us this holiday season. It looks like that rumor has panned out. It cannot be pre-ordered yet, but they do have a December 6th availability date listed. Thanks to JTA readers Mike M. and Brian K. for the alerts!

UPDATE: It looks like other online shops have this for pre-order too. Perhaps TRU is confused about having this as their exclusive, but our sources have confirmed this too at one point. Maybe it has since changed.

BB-8 will be a hard act to follow, but these two look like they can do it! Pre-order both the BB-9E and R2-D2 App-Enabled Droids!

Toys R Us is selling a 4-piece Funko Pop Collectors Set that features Darth Vader, Boba Fett, Threepio, and Artoo-Detoo.

The Episode III Gift Pack was an international exclusive released during The Saga Collection in 2006. It has one of the rarest figures of the entire Hasbro line in it.
