I had a pretty good week when it comes to collecting. I took a trip an hour south to Tucson, AZ, and went to a wonderful swap meet. Some of my favorite vendors had vamoosed, unfortunately, but there were still a couple toy vendors with decent Star Wars merchandise. I also watched A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi, which marks the first time my son has gotten to watch the original trilogy (although he’s 2 so he ran around for a lot of it and went to be 3/4ths of the way through each movie, but boy did he like R2-D2!). Wow! I knew this was a HOT figure, but look what sellers are requesting for the 2015 Rebels Jedi Temple Guard (SL17) Saga Legends figure Check it out! Do prices like this for 5POA make you mad? Or dejected? Or do you laugh at what some command for these simple figures? One thing is for sure, we don’t know of any other 5POA figure that goes for this kind of money, proof that all-new characters from beloved Star Wars sources will always be desired. Thanks to friend Sjefke for the alert on this.

If you’re interested, Walmart.com has the STAR WARS Attack Of The Clones Digital Release Commemorative Collection Box Set of 3.75″ 5POA figures set on sale for $5.99 with FREE SHIPPING. If you’re not aware of this set, the Super Battle Droid is a pretty solid figure. Jango Fett isn’t half bad at all either. Special thanks to JTA reader Craig.
