As usual Star Wars Celebration also revealed several things not meant for the vast number of fans out there who could not afford a ticket or the trip to London! But as usual very kind people do post the spoiler material on Reddit and other places! So let’s talk about the Acolyte trailer that was screened at Celebration and the first few minutes of The Mandalorian Chapter 23 screened at one of the panels that heralds the return of a very important character and name drops someone very important. A first glimpse at Skeleton Crew was also provided! And we also got a short Andor season 2 teaser! Only read this article if you like spoilers! You will be absolutely spoiled if you click! I love spoilers and rumors. Which is probably no surprise to anyone who knows me. Of course there are people who avoid them at all costs, which is perfectly fine, but I always felt that spoilers/rumors actually enhance the experience, it always helps me adjust my own expectations. I either look very much forward to seeing something after reading about a spoiler/rumor or I know that I should probably temper any expectations and brace for impact.
With that out of the way let’s talk about some assorted Star Wars rumors today, specifically, rumors about a few upcoming Star Wars Disney+ series, including Kenobi, which will be released on May 25th. So if you want to learn some rumors/spoilers (which of course, may not be entirely accurate, such is the nature of rumor reports) click through. We’re only a few days away from The Rise of Skywalker. I will actually see the movie next week on Wednesday, the movie opens in Europe on December 18th, only two days after the world premiere in Hollywood. Expect more leaks to come and confirmation of whether or not they are actually true very soon. And I want to discuss one such leak, even if not technically speaking a leak, today.
Dan Mindel, director of photography for The Rise of Skywalker, posted a photo on his Instagram, which was deleted a short time later. And this photo may contain some very crucial information. And the fact that the photo was deleted a short time later may actually confirm that the photo was never supposed to be posted, because it’s very spoilery. We all saw the final trailer for The Rise of Skywalker last night. It was extremely light on story, to the point that it didn’t give away anything at all, but instead was filled with beautiful, sometimes breathtaking imagery and epic scenes. But the trailer also confirms basically everything that was reported in leaks weeks ago. Which begs the question if the rest of the leaks, the leaks about story and plot are also true. So let’s have a final discussion about The Rise of Skywalker spoilers!
