Holy cow. The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ Kit Fisto figure is a complete mess. The head sculpt looks like an amalgamation of the Episode II and Episode III versions of the character, but the deco and details more closely resemble the Revenge Of The Sith likeness. Either way, the figure doesn’t have a robe, comes with the wrong lightsaber hilt, and possesses a litany of other issues. 6″ collectors should demand a recount on this figure. (more….)

The Chewbacca Mission Fleet figure is the best of the first wave. It has a strong The Clone Wars vibe to it, but it will also work for an animated take on the Original Trilogy character. And it comes with a Wookiee flyer! Will you give this line a chance too? (more….)

There have been a significant number of changes made to the re-released The Vintage Collection See-Threepio (C-3PO) (VC06) figure. We took the time to break it all down for you by producing an all-new 68-image gallery complete with comparison shots, dioramas, and a breakdown of what separates the 2010 version from the 2020 new release. (Hasbro has released this figure every five years since 2010!) You can probably find See-Threepio (C-3PO) (VC06) at your local TARGET and WALMART stores now. If not, orders should begin shipping from the “Fan Channel” shortly. As usual, there’s more difference here than you may believe, including a possible retooling that benefits the aesthetics of the head sculpt! Be sure to acclimate yourself to the many changes!

In early April we reviewed the Revenge Of The Sith Chewbacca 12″ KB Toys exclusive. If you recall, I didn’t have the weapon available to shoot with the figure. Well, I found it and added eight new images with Chewbacca with the gun. For those of you who are interested, here you go!

We’re thrilled to present you with a sneak peek of the latest wave of The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ figures. Wow. What a wave! In addition to three fabulous The Rise Of Skywalker characters, we get a long-awaited Count Dooku and Clone Commander Bly, both of which are fantastic as well. Clone Commander Bly utilizes old tooling, but Hasbro did a good job as disguising that. Count Dooku will enrage longtime 3.75″ collectors. Why in the world do we not have a quality Count Dooku figure like this in our collections yet, Hasbro? Count Dooku comes with an all-new widened lightsaber blade attachment. Zorii Bliss is another incredible addition. The figure’s mask is removable and displays a beautiful visage of Kerri Russell. The Knight Of Ren is excellent. But these characters lost their luster a bit after Episode IX. Still, Hasbro should be commended. Will we ever get them all. Sith Jet Trooper may only be a repaint, but its sculpt is underrated. And the figure works beautifully in this color too. The reviews are coming shortly, but you can enjoy rough galleries now. More images coming soon!

The postman had a nice gift for me today. German customs has finally released my brand new S.H.Figuarts Yoda (Revenge of the Sith) figure, and after only 5 days at the local customs office the figure is finally mine!

It’s a shame that Hasbro canceled their 12 Inch Figures line after they produced Shaak Ti. They ended the line with a bang, and this figure brought the line to a whole new level.
