Hasbro celebrates the 50th Anniversary of Lucasfilm by acknowledging the Maker. Check out the George Lucas (In Stormtrooper Disguise) 6-inch figure, a Fan Channel exclusive. It’s not as good as the 3.75-inch version, however. (more….)

After two disappointing releases, The Black Series Clone Wars Mace Windu is a delight. Find out why you’ll want this one. (more….)
Holy cow. Hasbro is giving The Black Series collectors the shaft. So much for the line with higher profit margins. As much as we hoped to adore the ARC Trooper Captain, we quickly learned how lazy Hasbro was once again with a new character added to the 6-inch line. (more….)
The Walmart exclusive Clone Wars General Grievous isn’t a great action figure. We wanted to enjoy it more than we did, but Hasbro took too many shortcuts. (more….)
The new Princess Leia Organa (Yavin 4) is a gorgeous figure in terrible packaging. Learn more. (more….)
Week 4 of Bring Home the Bounty showcases the already sold out Walmart exclusive The Black Series Clone Wars figures. But wait… they were available again! But sold out. Maybe they will go back up? Keep checking! I didn’t see the other two in stock, but General Grievous was available for a short time when I checked. Also revealed is the Clone Wars packaging for this set.

Lucasfilm continues to celebrate 50 years with another Vintage-style The Black Series release: George Lucas (In Stormtrooper Disguise), paying homage to the creator himself. Featured in a The Black Series 6-Inch Vintage Card Back, replicating the 2006 mail-away exlusive, look for this to go up for pre-order on Amazon on September 29 at 1 PM Eastern (link not yet active). StarWars.com has the full story.
Hasbro placed the worst figure from the original The Black Series 6-inch line on the worst Star Wars action figure card art. It’s literally a lose-lose situation with the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Greedo figure. Why Hasbro? Why? (more….)
Our friends at Fanthatracks have a first look at one of today’s upcoming announcements: Princess Leia Organa (Yavin 4) on a Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary commemorative The Power of the Force green card back. Head over to Fanthatracks for more images.
I know I see more positive reports than negative one when it comes to Hasbro Pulse. Still, JTA reader Jason A.’s recent delivery of The Black Series [Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary] POTF2 (one of their worst exclusives ever) arrived shoved into an ill-fitted box by their shipping department. This has been the norm for me. I’ve literally had better encounters with Walmart’s shipping than Hasbro Pulse. Oh well.
What in the name of the “Maker” is going on with the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary figures and paying homage to a terrible blemish in the Star Wars action figure line? It’s a point in toy history that none of us want to remember. Sure, The Power Of The Force “2” line was fun in the late nineties, but the figures and the corresponding packaging are eyesores to the more sophisticated collectors. Whoever thought of this concept needs to be placed in front of a firing squad. And Hasbro, please remember NOT to double-dip when it comes to The Power Of The Force “2” commemorative stuff. Just take a bite and end it.
OK, Hasbro. You need a reality check. The current exclusive program is an unmitigated disaster. And you should be held accountable for its ineffectiveness. Unless you’re dead under a rock somewhere, you must know how pre-orders for online exclusives are COMPLETE calamities, right? This nonsense has to stop. (more….)

Click below for pre-order links to yesterday’s The Black Series reveals. These are all exclusives, so hopefully, they will fare better than the Target exclusives!
We will add links as we find them, so keep refreshing if all links are not yet live.
Notes:
UPDATE: Well, it seems ShopDisney and Walgreens decided not to go by the official pre-order time, so who knows when they will go live (probably after their sitewide promotions end). Hopefully, Walmart will do like it did with their other TBS exclusives and put them back in stock once the dust settles. We will update this article with links when they are finally added.

We’re receiving emails from readers asking us if we’ve sectioned off a place in our RDRs and VGs for the Lucasfilm 50 collection of Hasbro Star Wars action figures. Because the products marked with this logo are from across various lines, the best we could come up with was a search option. If you click HERE or type “Lucasfilm 50” in our RDRs search bar, you’ll be taken to a list of all the products released to date that sport the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary logo. We hope that helps you out for those that are looking for this.
Here’s our final Visual Guide update from the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Expanded Universe The Black Series figure releases: Carnor Jax. Click below for our full Visual Guide page. Make sure to also check out our full review of this figure right here.
So, are you interested in guessing what Hasbro will be revealing for their I Am Your Father’s Day panel on Wednesday? Will they help me get closer to retirement with more The Ninety Six reveals (help us, Maker, you’re our only hope)? Will we see new Bad Batch 6-inch figures? Or will we see more new releases with that awful Lucasfilm 50th logo on them? Or will it be a whole bunch of nothing? Your thoughts in the comments, please!
We continue our look at the Lucasfilm 50th Anniversary Expanded Universe figures with our Visual Guide Update of The Black Series Luke Skywalker & Ysalamiri. Click below to check out the full guide page. You can also read our full review of this figure right here.
