Walmart put a 1-per-order limit on both the Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight) And Yoda (Force Spirit) The Black Series exclusives, and both are still available. If you were looking for more than 1 of each of these it’s a fair bet you can safely place some extra orders if you are looking for extras. For once, it seems two desirable exclusives are very plentiful for those looking for them! Also of note, it seems demand has been met for the previously sold-out Jabba’s Palace too. This is also in-stock.

Initially, I was quite critical of the “Carbonized” variations released as store exclusives for The Black Series [Phase III] line. Over time, I’ve developed an affinity for them. In many instances, I think some of the armored parts and metal parts on the characters look significantly better than the standard painted-plastic treatments. (more….)

Mark G . from The Black Series Collectors Group posted an image of the single-release of the First Order Snowtrooper that came in the Mystery Box exclusive set for $39.99. As expected, it’s arriving at TARGET singly for $19.99.

Now that we’re a significant amount of weeks out from Triple Force Friday, we’re curious to know what you’re finding at retail now. For me, I am only finding exclusives (and with relative ease). But as far as general marketplace items, like the first couple of waves of The Vintage Collection and The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ lines, I am finding almost nothing. There has been sell-through, but I don’t think any of my local stores have restocked. Let us know what you’re finding in your neck of the woods!

It feels like circa 2007-2008 again with The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ Purge Stormtrooper, a new character from the Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order video game. The Purge Stormtrooper from the Star Wars: Fallen Jedi Order video game (and other sources) was the most difficult 6″ figure for me to acquire this year, but I finally have one. It’s such a great figure, that I thought I’d get a sneak peek gallery up before tomorrow’s review. Now that we have an Airborne Trooper head sculpt, I hope that Hasbro works on an Airborne Trooper 6″ figure from Episode III. I’m surprised we don’t have that character or the Galactic Marine yet. A mix of mostly old and a little bit new, the Purge Stormtrooper borrows from the past while keeping things fresh for the new era of Star Wars. Check out the gallery now.!

It looks as if Hasbro may have tricked Disney into letting them make a Yoda (Force Spirit) 6″ figure by referencing it as a character from The Last Jedi as evidenced by the name on the case assortment box. But this figure is definitely based on the Yoda from Return Of The Jedi. Find out more in our Research Droids Reviews today! And it is….The Purge Trooper? That’s right. The mysterious figure from the “?” covered image on Gamestop’s website is actually just a Purge Trooper. Many speculated that since the Purge Trooper was already revealed as a Gamestop Exclusive that it wouldn’t make sense for it to be the mystery figure, but unfortunately I was told this wasn’t the case as the employee opened the box in front of me. The good news? Your local GameStop likely has a few in stock since the box my store opened contained 12 and only 2 were pre-orders. So if you need it, nows the time to hit up your GameStop! If you pre-ordered the bundle online and get a different figure, let us know. Now excuse me while I go off to play Fallen Order for 20 hours straight!

If you’re looking for the latest Walmart exclusives, be sure to check the entertainment section of the store (the area with games, Blu-rays, and televisions). Just today, I found The Black Series [Phase III] 6″ Yoda (Force Spirit) and Luke Skywalker (Jedi Knight), the latest wave of the “solid gold” figures, and the TVC Luke Skywalker (Yavin) figure.
