It’s a wrap! We just finished up our Research Droids Reviews on the greatest of all time The Vintage Collection wave of Clone Wars action figures. We also updated some of the galleries, and included the CORRECT Republic Gunship in the photoshoot because we finally found it! As you know, we’ve just finished up reviewing what many are calling the “greatest of all time” wave of The Vintage Collection Clone Wars figures. Yes, the wave was nothing more than simple repaints, but it added the Clone Wars entertainment logo to The Vintage Collection repertoire and added new characters to the line for the first time. If you passed on this wave of figures, you’re missing out badly. With its runaway success, we believe that Hasbro and Walmart can work together again to develop two additional waves with little to no new tooling while making collectors inordinately happy simultaneously. Hasbro insists on using the same old tooling for The Vintage Collection Battle Droid figure from the Clone Wars micro-series. It poses well, but it’s not a great action figure! (more….)

Just a friendly reminder: The Black Series Boba Fett (Tython) Jedi Ruins Pre-Order is scheduled to launch at 1 PM Eastern today right here on Walmart.com. There’s no guarantee that it will launch right at 1 PM. Here’s the pre-order page to keep an eye on. It’s not live yet, so it won’t register as a product page until it is live.

It looks like we will have to wait a bit longer to pre-order the Walmart exclusive The Black Series Deluxe Boba Fett (Tython) Jedi Ruins. 

Following the reveal of the STAR WARS: THE BLACK SERIES 6-INCH BOBA FETT (TYTHON) JEDI RUINS Figure, there has been an update regarding the figure’s preorder availability. The figure’s preorder is currently on hold and will be rescheduled. We understand receiving up to date and accurate preorder information is of the utmost importance to the dedicated community of Star Wars collectors and so we wanted to provide our fans with transparency on this preorder in real time.

Hasbro has revealed their latest The Black Series figure: Boba Fett (Tython) Jedi Ruins. Another ‘Deluxe’ figure, this one exclusive to Walmart and retailing for $31.49. Look for this to go up for sale tomorrow (Tuesday) at 1 PM Eastern.

The Vintage Collection The Mandalorian & Grogu (Maldo Kreis) Walmart exclusive set is visually the most horrifying thing we’ve seen for packaging to date in The Vintage Collection. But the contents inside are pretty awesome. It’s still overpriced and the value feels light. But what about those knobby white ice spiders? (more….)
