SH Figuarts will for the first time show The Last Jedi Luke Skywalker (Crait) and a Revenge of the Sith Yoda at the Tamashii Comic-Con this weekend! So it seems SHF will beat Hasbro to the punch once more when it comes to making a TLJ version of Luke! But I am especially excited for Yoda, since the Hasbro version may have a good sculpt, but it’s too tall and the facial paint apps leave much to be desired! We will post photos once they become available!

Wow. Apparently just a mistake at the retail level, look what an anonymous JTA reader found at his local Superstore in Canada. That’s the most expensive 5POA figure I have ever seen!

As soon as the news broke that Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi were part of the Star Wars [The Last Jedi] line, most collectors wanted to know how they differed from past versions. With thanks to Hasbro and Litzky PR for providing us this sample, we’re able to give you some details. The review will be coming in the near future, but here are the nuts and bolts: Yoda comes with eight points of articulation. The shoulders are ball-jointed, the head is a reverse ball-socket joint and his ankles come with standard ball-socket articulation. He also comes with a swivel waist. What he doesn’t come with are two separately moving legs. There are no hip joints and his lower body is one chunk of plastic. His likeness is excellent. His coloring is OK. And his accessories are based on his appearance from Star Wars Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. There are rumors that he is to make an appearance in Episode VIII, so this action figure seems to help add more fuel to that fire. Check out our rough early RDR page by clicking the image below.

The Yoda Deluxe figure has a truly unique likeness. Some love it. Others dislike it. But the biggest distraction in the set is the Can-cell. It almost is the star of the show. There’s an awful lot of Yoda merchandise showing up in The Last Jedi line look packaging isn’t there? Between this latest store find and the rumor report of ours which alluded that you should be seeing Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi merchandise in the toy line (as well as Yakface.com breached action figure assortments), it seems more and more that somehow, somewhere Yoda will make a cameo in some way. Then again, he may not at all. It should be interesting to see what happens, huh? Special thanks to Crime Sweeper for this store report.

Even if you consider yourself a hardcore collector, it’s a good bet that you don’t even know about the 2007 30 (77-07) Clones And Commanders Gift Pack which was released only as an international exclusive. It was originally offered to be a Toys R Us exclusive in America, but those plans fell through the cracks. It’s one of the strangest boxed sets ever put together.
