Brand New German Solo Trailer Reveals New Dialogue By Dryden Vos

Star Wars Deutschland (Germany) posted a new trailer on their official YouTube channel which is not available in English (yet). Now, this is in German of course, all movies get dubbed here. So most of you probably won’t understanbd a word that is said. However, several brand new lines spoken by Dryden Vos are revealed in the trailer. Click through for screencaps and translations of Dryden Vos’ lines!

Intercut with Dryden’s dialogue is this beautiful shot

Dryden Vos says this: “Give me one reason not to kill you!”

Dryden talks to Han: “You’ll need to watch your back for the rest of your life!”

That last screenshot is followed by Dryden cutting through some structure with his blade. This is the scene where Han evades Dryden’s blow.

Important: I translated lines from a German translation of the original English lines. The original English lines might be slightly different but should have the exact same meaning.

Anyway, Dryden comes across as very menacing in the trailer and as someone who could probably return in potential future Han Solo movies. Unless he meets his demise in the movie. Also, I have a feeling the final scene with Dryden Vos could be towards the end of the movie. Han is alone with him, the others seem to be not in the scene and something went very wrong with the job they were hired to do for Dryden.

What do you think of Paul Bettany as Dryden? Unfortunately, the dubbed voice takes away from his performance. Voice actors in Germany usually give their best when dubbing Star Wars movies, but it’s always different than the original performance of course.
