Have You Ever Wanted to Be an Action Figure?
I certainly have! Dark Side Toys announces Dark Side Creations: 3D printed custom heads for 3.75″ action figures. Click through for their announcement!
Custom action figures of yourself have hitherto been very pricey. With the cost of 3d printing going down, Dark Side Toys (not to be confused with Dork Side Toys) have taken advantage of that and are going to soon be offering 3.75 scale custom figures with your face as an action figure.
What we know so far is the heads will be a plain primary unpainted color, the available bodies are limited to 5poa from The Force Awakens onward (booo), but most importantly they will be “affordable.”
What we don’t know is if they will be available as heads only (although I assume they will), or if they will be available worldwide since this is a European based company.
This is just a preliminary announcement. Before you ask, as of now pricing and availability have not been announced, so stay tuned.
