GeekTyrant Gets Sent Peg-Warmers to Review... And They're Still Just OK
A thanks to Disqus commenter TopMonkey for this heads up. We initially reviewed Han, Lando, and Qi’ra from Solo back in April. So far these figures have not sold through everywhere, and their Amazon values attest to their diminished popularity. So, in an attempt to reignite some interest, Hasbro sent GeekTyrant some promo figures for review. The reviewer is a collector himself, so he has some valuable thoughts regarding these figures…
As could be expected, the reviewer is well aware of the current situation with these figures, and full well knows he was sent them because they are peg-warming. The video gives a rather bland and mediocre review of the figures (no slight against the reviewer), with several “it’s pretty cool’s” and “the face printing is a good thing going on.” In my personal opinion, the author’s awareness of the lackluster choices Hasbro has been making showed in his review.
