What's The Deal With TVC Han Solo (Stormtrooper)'s Packaging?
Hey Hasbro! Can we be frank with you about the card back art for The Vintage Collection Han Solo (Stormtrooper) figure, please?
It’s dreadful.
Do you have time to update it and make it look pretty?
Why is the image of our beloved hero an augmented still from the film that looks more sketch than a photo? There are PLENTY of reference images available of Han Solo in this disguise gear available to you. You could use the Death Star control room (the one with the red wall) images. Or you could use a picture of him talking his way out of trouble to the Imperial officer (“Everything’s fine, situation normal”) scene.
Why instead did you go with this awful mess? It is so dreary and dark. I had to lighten it up so people could see the detail in this article. It’s that dark.
In case you didn’t know, Han Solo (Stormtrooper) holds a special place in most longtime collectors’ hearts. It was your VERY FIRST modern release. You launched the modern lin with this figure. Can we show it more respect than this? Han Solo (Stormtrooper) should be as special to you too. The figure itself is a beauty and stunning work of art. So, please make sure the packaging enhances that instead of detracting from it. This is the only time we’re getting this figure in Kenner-inspired packaging, so please do right by it?
