Welcome, toy runners to another fine Toy Run Tuesday! This week you’ll find some photos from some recently completed customs I did. Please click through and share with your fellow collectors what you acquired this week. Did you get a TVC Skiff? Boba Fett repack? Build your army of 6″ figures? Let us know in the comments!
First up, I wanted to share a work in progress picture of an ARC trooper I am making for someone. Quite a ways to go, but I will certainly post pictures of the final product before shipping them out to their new commander.
Next I wanted to show off a blaster I painted. This was a Nerf blaster originally that I modified and painted to resemble Poe Dameron’s blaster. I really like the look of the GLIE-44. Ther Nerf aspect still functions, as do the electronics.
Last, I have a few photos I took with some recently completed 3.75″ scale diorama sets. I consider myself an amatuer in woodworking, and try to put the skill to good use making (and often selling via eBay) diorama parts. Most recently I finished some sets of cantina chairs as well as a couple of buildings. Take a look:
Painting them is probably more fun than building them. This was the first time I really got a chance to do some toy photography with my buildlings. I am a better maker than picture taker.
There you have it folks, my week in Star Wars. I am glad I finished those buildings. I had been working on them for too long! I really like the weathering if I do say so myself. Anyway, let us know in the comments how your week went with Star Wars collecting in the limelight as always.
