Are you excited for The Bad Batch season 2? It will be interesting to see if season 2 can crack the top 10 Nielsen charts. Only the first two episodes of season 1 – released only a few days apart – managed to do that, after that The Bad Batch failed to enter the charts. It will also be interesting to see if it’s actually a good idea to have the final season 2 episodes launch on the same day as The Mandalorian season 3 episodes for about a month. The Mandalorian will return in early March, The Bad Batch will end its season 2 on March 29th, which is one full month with two new Star Wars episodes each week. Will you tune in when The Bad Batch season 2 is released next week?
Ugh. The Black Series 6-inch line is nothing more than repacks and repaints. It’s boring as all heck. Check out the new Shoretrooper. (more….)

As 2022 draws to a close it’s probably the perfect time to look back at 2022. What was your favourite new Star Wars action figure you bought in 2022? To make things a bit easier and to open it up a bit more the figure doesn’t necessarily be from 2022, so if you anyone bought a mint carded vinyl cape Kenner Jawa in 2022 and is extremely happy with it, post that. Also, feel free to include any manufacturer or scale, Hot Toys, Funko, SH.Figuarts and of course Hasbro TBS & TVC. And if a playset is your favourite Star Wars toy of the year, you can include that as well. And since this is not an actual award feel free to also post your most favourite non Star Wars action figure you may have acquired in 2022.
Hot Toys’ sixth scale The Bad Batch Echo (TMS042) is our next Visual Guide update. Click below to check out our full Visual Guide for this fantastic addition to the sixth scale line.
Hasbro, please don’t be fooled by all the barking and clapping seals praising every meager new toy announcement you reveal. There is a huge swelling undercurrent of frustrated longtime Star Wars collectors that are growing increasingly aggravated by your lack of vision for Return Of The Jedi’s glorious 40th anniversary. We will riot if you don’t produce at least two items below. Please produce any two of the following: Jabba The Hutt playset (um, you already have all the parts for this), Sy Snootles And The Rebo Band (sorry – 9 out of 10 man-babies agree you’ve owed us this for years now), Ewok Village playset (we need something to enhance that awful Endor Bunker), an all-new Squid Head (Tessek) figure, or Imperial Dignitary (Sim Aloo). Please don’t make us angry. You wouldn’t like us when we’re angry.
Nielsen have updated their weekly streaming charts. And Andor returns to the top 10 original series! Click through for more!
Up next for our Hot Toys Visual Guide updates is the sixth scale Captain Rex (TMS018). Click below to visit our full Visual Guide page.
Also revealed yesterday were photos of the all-new Endor bunker playset. This is part of the ROTJ 40th lineup. I am personally very excited for this set as it will be a major upgrade to one of my favorite dioramas. I’ve also included some photos from The Vintage Collection Facebook group taken from a Hasbro stream after the reveal. Take a look! Will you be adding this playset to your collection? Let us know in the comments.
Today we will start taking a look at some sixth scale Hot Toys Visual Guides, starting with the 501st Battalion Clone Trooper (Deluxe Version) (TMS023). Click below to check out the full Visual Guide.
Lucasfilm just released the official season 2 trailer for The Bad Batch. The series returns on January 4th, before The Mandalorian is released in early March. The trailer features more of the same we saw in season 1, which means more Cid, more odd jobs, but there are also hints of bigger things like the involvement of Rex, Order 66 survivors and some dialogue snippets that hint at the clones slowly realizing that more needs to be done. Watch the trailer after the jump!
It would have been better if Hasbro didn’t celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Return Of The Jedi at all. (more….)

It’s time for the weekly Nielsen Streaming Charts update! Andor has dropped out of the top 10 original series charts. In 10th place is The Handmaid’s Tale with 441 million minutes, and last week Andor had a little less than 400 million minutes. Previous episodes never really reached the numbers The Handmaid’s Tale has, which explains why Andor’s numbers are not good enough for the top 10 this week. With that Andor is the first Star Wars live action series to disappear from the original series streaming charts. Read more after the jump!
