Here are the all the revealed new Black Series figures Hasbro showed off at their SDCC panel today!
There were also three pipeline reveals!
Most items are available in fall 2023. Pre-orders start tomorrow, July 22nd, at 5 pm ET! The Holiday figures will magically appear on shelves, there is no pre-order for them!
Ahsoka figures will be up for pre-order on August 10th at 1 PM Eastern.
Photos will be added later!
So what do you think of the Black Series reveals? Not too many really new things were shown, with Hera and Sabine being the highlights, in my opinion.
UPDATE: Photos added!
And here are some photos of the revealed figures!
Hera with Mary Elizabeth Winstead likeness. She comes with one blaster as her sole accessory. Please note how the thigh swivel is missing from that figure.
And Sabine based on Natasha Liu Bordizzo. This figure has no thigh swivel either. She comes with her blasters, the helmet and Ezra’s lightsaber.
Ahsoka, who is based on the previous The Mandalorian version with a few tweaks. No thigh swivel either.
The brand new R2 with correct dimensions. In my opinion this still looks worse than the Japanese import options, especially more plasticky and flimsy. R2’s legs are ever so slightly warped even in the promo photo. But of course the Black Series R2 will be more affordable than a Figuarts R2. And you get more accessories as well.
And the 2023 Holiday figures. They look fun, for those who want gimmick figures. The Albino Ewok could maybe even be added to any normal Star Wars display.
