And here is a closer look at the new figures!

Night of the living dead

The Night Trooper is basically all new (only the feet, hands and shoulder pads are from the regular Death Trooper) and in my opinion the details on this figure are amazing.

According to the designer only the thighs are re-use here, everything else is brand new. Maybe they should have released this figure first, instead of the holo version of Ezra. But as they say, better late than never… Again, the details here are excellent. But I have a feeling many will feel this is not the most exciting figure.

SM-33 is a deluxe figure, which is to be expected with figures like these nowadays. A lot of engineering went into the figure though, each limb is extendable, you also get alternate parts for the shields, they even added the tiny gerbil living in SM-33’s head (the top of his head is removable so you get access to the gerbil and can put him in the eye or remove him). Since there may be stability issues with a peglegged figure the figure also comes with a small stand to help with the balance. In my opinion this figure turned out nicely and whether you liked Skeleton Crew and watched it or not, this is a nice droid to have.

More will come in April then, when it’s time for Celebration Japan!

Will you get any of the newly revealed figures?
