Star Wars Rebels' Final Season Earns Three Emmy Nominations

Nominations for the 70th Emmy Awards were announced today and Star Wars Rebels was among the nominees. In total, the final season of Star Wars Rebels received three nominations. The series was once again nominated in the Outstanding Children’s Program category. In addition, underappreciated composer Kevin Kiner was nominated in the Outstanding Music Composition For A Series category for his work on the Rebels’ series finale. Kiner and Star Wars Rebels will face off against Emmy juggernauts Game of Thrones and Westworld in that category. Finally, Star Wars Rebels was nominated for Outstanding Sound Editing For A Comedy Or Drama Series (Half-Hour) And Animation.
