Toy Run Tuesday #3 - 3D Prints and Partial Figures

We’ve arrived again on another fine Tuesday. Per usual, it’s that time again to share what you added to your personal collections this week! I’ve really loved seeing your photos the last couple weeks and I have some exciting new additions to share with you all. Go ahead and click here to see what I’m talking about!

Not quite so busy of a week for me on the Star Wars side of things. Lots going on my personal life so things have been hectic. However, I headed to the toy section of Walmart near me and found the recently arrived Kessel playset on clearance. Oh, if only I had some droids from Kessel in my collection (I’m waiting for someone to 3d print me some, but it’s been a while).

$21 was still a little too much for me to grab one. Plus I have no space.

More exciting were these fodder figures that I found at Zia Records for just $.99 each! I need a new Rebels Thrawn to make a custom as I botched the paint on the last one I tried to make.

Finally, the most exciting bit of today’s post is this wonderful 3d printed C-PH Patrol Speeder Bike from Krazy D’s Customs. The quality of the print is great, and I glued it together using some plastic weld from Home Depot. I only snapped one piece trying to put it together… But that was totally my fault. There are a lot of really minute details, especially for a 3d print (my favorite detail is the back panel shown below). I do wish it had the laser on the front, but that is so small it would be dangerous to print.

My real complaint is that we don’t have a 3.75″ articulated patrol trooper to fit on it! My custom articulated one doesn’t have ball-jointed hips, so he doesn’t sit properly. I might revamp that custom sometime with some biker scout legs.

“Sweet ride, we don’t have any of these on Endor.”

Now I just need to buy Han’s speeder! That is my report for this last week. What have you got to share with us this time around? Please post your comments and photos below!
