Toy Run Tuesday #17 - The Phantom and Shelving
Another fine Tuesday, fellow collectors! This week I only have one new item to share with you, but I had another topic for discussion. I’m wanting to put in shelving in our craft room for displaying dioramas. I purchased the Phantom from someone on Facebook. It arrived quickly and in good condition, and I am very happy to have this ship as part of my collection. It’s got just the right amount of detail and playability, and doesn’t have silly gimmicks (like nerf) that plagued much of the Rebels line. Check out the RDR of this vehicle here.
Now, on to the next topic: shelving. I have been searching for good shelves to put up in my craft room to display my figures and dioramas. I don’t like detolf shelves, that’s not what I’m going for, and it just seems I can’t find quite the right thing. Below are some examples I’ve seen on Facebook of some awesome shelf displays. You will probably recognize the shelves of toymaker Empire Toy Works. The other was from the Community of Star Wars Collectors group.
So there is my week in Star Wars. A wonderful new ship, but not much of a way to display it. Help me come up with some ideas in the comments below. Thanks for reading!
