I just wanted to make a special post about the wonderful work done by Krazy D’s Kustoms. A few weeks ago I received an item from them, and finally had a chance to put it together. Click here for some photos of my new toys!
Paul from Krazy D’s Kustoms does some fine 3D printing work. This week I finally had the chance to put together my 3.75″ scale Death Star Gunner Station. It’s HUGE! As you can see in the photo below (sorry, the quality is not so great on my phone), this massive cannon is about a foot in length. The two gunners seated are the recent TVC Death Star Gunners. I like those figures a lot, and they fit in the seats perfectly. The print is very smooth. I need to paint it still, and thankfully it won’t require a lot of sanding or filling to avoid seeing print lines through the paint.
Next to it I put my patrol speeder I received several months ago from Krazy D’s with my custom patrol trooper atop it. Again, the print quality is excellent. would absolutely recommend Hasbro to make an articulated patrol trooper that can ride this.
Now, here is what YOU need to do! Check out their current product by clicking here. Browse and see what items they make in one scale that you would like to see in another, and think of parts you don’t see that you would like to have made. Then, head over to Krazy D’s Kustoms Facebook page, and flood the comments with diorama pieces and parts you’d like to see made. Whether you like 6″ or 3.75″, I think Paul K. does wonderful work and can meet the needs of many Star Wars collectors and customizers.
